Normally I get good pretzel and good service here but the last time I was here there was a girl working and normally I never see her. She gave me an old crusty pretzel from the display that wasn’t made that day and it tasted pretty bad, she was patient with me when I was using my rewards I have on my app but I can tell she just wanted me to hurry up and leave, I don’t think she was too happy I came back to ask for a sauce. I love the service from the guys, never had a problem. I love the pizza pretzels from here.

This place is straight up disgusting. I never leave reviews. I just had the most disgusting pretzels in my life. It is so expensive too. 15 dollars for pretzels and lemonade. The only reason anyone would come here is because the auntie Anne’s line is too long. The staff was not very friendly either. I cannot believe how disgusting these pretzels, so greasy they were wet, and all clumped together. Never come here.

I come to the mall just to get these pretzels. The last couple of times I’ve been there, I’ve used the app thinking I’d gain points and each time the points I earn don’t credit to my app. I’ve said something about it and was told it takes 24hrs to load, 24hrs come and there’s no points. I don’t have the time to tell back to the mall the next day to show them, however, this needs to be fixed for future customers. THEN each time I want a drink, I’m forced to purchase the larger size(not doing that). I had a reward for $5 off and was told I couldn’t use it(even though my app was showing I had it and could use it). I’m not sure where the issue lies because previously I had no issues until most recently.

As a fan of Auntie Anne’s, I was excited when I found out that there was a local Wetzels Pretzels location. I’ve always wanted to try it, so I drove out of my way to the Galleria to have a snack.
My first red flag was that I was clearly being treated like a number, like I was a walking, talking wallet, by the cashier. And the customers after me were served in the same rushed manner.
Pretzel bites are more expensive than the normal pretzels here. Knowing this beforehand, I was a bit puzzled why they insisted I buy the pretzel bites if I wanted the cinnamon sugar or almond pretzels, instead of them just cooking up a normal cinnamon sugar or almond pretzel for me. I relented and paid extra for the cinnamon bites, which were just plain pretzel bites that they hastily added the cinnamon sugar to.
I paid $16 for a salted normal pretzel, cinnamon pretzel BITES that cost me extra, and a small cup of frosting for dipping. With these awful prices and such awful service, these pretzels better be the best I’ve ever tasted.
They were far from the best I’ve ever tasted. Auntie Anne’s beat Wetzels in taste with pretty much every product I purchased. The salt pretzel is better at Auntie Anne’s, the cinnamon pretzel, the frosting. Oh, God, the frosting here is soooooo fake tasting and bad…
These Wetzels pretzels tasted so generic. Ive had better pretzels at the Sams Club food court!
I also mentioned that my cinnamon bites had the cinnamon sugar added on at the last second. So some of the pretzel bites werent coated with sugar properly, making them taste plain and generic. I paid extra money for THAT?!
Coming from someone who enjoys national chain restaurants, I will never visit a Wetzels Pretzels location again. There’s no excuse not to go to Auntie Anne’s instead. It’s in the same mall as this scam of a business.
