Wet Dog Tavern is a family favorite open for breakfast 7 days a week at 8am and serving food and cocktails until midnight. This all ages restaurant features a great selection of burgers, sandwiches and appetizers that will please every guest. Late night entertainment includes karaoke on Thursday and Saturday nights, as well as trivia on Tuesdays. Locally owned, you will likely be greeted by the owner or one of her teenage daughters. Nice but small bar a few miles from rhe beach. Staff was excellent. Friendly, good suggestions and attentive. Food was fine. Not special but good. Drink/Cocktail menu was a little light but what we did have we liked. Could kinda sorta qualify as a sports bar. Small TVs at each booth and two or three large ones. Outdoor seating and the big deal for us, they allow dogs inside. Recommended.

We sat outside on Taco Tuesday & very busy Farmer market night. enjoyed foods and drinks (very good, strong Margarita) the shrimp ceviche tostada was awesome!. Tacos and Poki were good too but I have to knocked out 1/2 star for chicken wings, it’s very dry and 6 pcs for $15 Service was Great, our server and everyone we met were very nice.

The Wet Dog Tavern was such a pleasant find, as we were riding our bikes in downtown Huntington Beach. We were only interested in having a small bite to eat. After reviewing the menu, we decided to try the chips and homemade salsa verde, and since it was $1/Wing Wednesday, we decided to order 10 wings and a rum sangria. The food came out quickly, and the chips and salsa were good, and the wings were tasty and extraordinarily crispy. The girl who was our waitress was exceptional and really made our first experience an impressionable one. The menu made us feel hungrier than we actually were, so we will be back to try several more dishes! There is an option to sit outside, and when you are so close to the beach, why not take advantage of the beautiful SoCal weather?!

A whole vibe. Brant is funny & so himself (I’m here for it, the fake waiter act is so overplayed) Food was great! Faves were the Cheeto Elote, Tater tots with damn good ranch (damn good but has a very dilly flavor) & the meatball sub. I didn’t get the bartenders name since we ate outside but she was absolutely glowing, a beautiful human, she never acted put out even though I asked for several items. Yeah yeah the water is self serve, honestly it’s California & a drought if you go get it, I bet you drink it. There weren’t any dogs present while we were their just my monster of a toddler (which they brought coloring & games for) food was quick & hot. Nothing negative to say at all. Location is also amazing, the cost was cheaper than other surrounding restaurants.

Literally beyond blown away with the quality of the food literally taking “not sacrificing quality” to the next level. I will be coming back way more often, service was top notch, bartenders are hilarious, plenty of TVs for sports (but it’s a Seahawks restaurant) Go Rams!, and of course a great place for dogs with a nice sized patio, 10/10 on everything!

This place won’t last. They are huge Seahawks fan, very ininviting. Think about how many Seahawk fans live in HB.

The owner made the biggest mistake representing a Seahawk bar, be smart and open up a tavern!!! Won’t ever step foot in this place again & will tell all my HB friends, family and local schools.

This tiny bar is easy to miss but a great location for someone to bring their dog. I had the Tavern Double Burger and it hit the spot with the Tavern beer. It was really busy when I walked in but the Servers handled the crowd very well.

Amazing food and bar drinks! They only had one server which was inconvenient but she was very nice and the food came out fast. We had the kitchen sink sandwich and cowboy up burger, bother were absolutely delicious. They also have fun patio seating.

Been here a few times with my dog and it has been great every time! Delicious food, good drinks, super friendly staff plus they have a dog menu and bring them a bowl of water. Will definitely keep coming back when in the area! Highly recommend this place!!
