This us a great local spot with lots of history. Our server was great he shared with us the history of the restaurant. He was very passionate and full of energy.
The food was really good and soulful. We had crab stuffed mushrooms and simple cheeseburger with tots and fresh roll.

It’s a quaint little bar/eatery with history on the walls. I had the red beans and rice. It’s ok. Definitely not a southern flavor. I’ve heard it’s really good the other meals. I’ll have to try it a second time. But it’s a good place to hang and chat.

Quite yummy! I had the red beans and rice, great flavor! A friend had the fried catfish basket. It was really good too. Other friends had the salmon and burger which they said were good also.
Food was a little slow coming out..but probably because our conference at the Sheraton released for lunch and bombarded the nearby restaurants.

Great food, great people, great music. It’s a must visit. Kids are welcome- If you have a typical picky eater: they offer chicken tenders, corn pups(dogs), grilled cheese. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with tables and booths inside.
We ordered the jambalaya, fried green tomatoes and Cajun pasta. Delicious.
You have to try their famous hot fudge pie.

Everything about Westy’s was phenomenal!!! Best chicken and dumplings *except my Grandmother’s* EVER!!!! Amazing service *James* that was able to offer great suggestions!!!! Perfect little hole in the wall atmosphere *people were there in shorts and t-shirts but also in tuxes and evening gowns* very comfortable!!!!

We were part of a small group of 8 ppl at the convention center & heard the food was very good there, so stopped in for dinner. The place was small, but they had a crowd already when we walked in. We had about a 15 min wait for a table., and another 15 – 20 min wait for our order. Regardless, the wait was well worth it. The waiters were really hustling to keep up with the clientele. The kitchen was small, but the food was hot & very good. I would highly recommend them.

Everytime I go Dontate makes sure my husband and I are well attended to and no matter how little money I have on me as a tip his attitude never changed. Its been our favorite restaurant for the late night food and calm atmosphere. The salmon is my favorite thing on menu but ANYTHING ive had was very delicious.

Honestly, I have to give my true opinion. very understaffed and it seemed like the front were also trying to cook. There’s no man in the Zimmerman frame trying to help out as well because they were understaffed. The ribs overcooked. Catfish very good. Good beer.

The food was SLAPPIN I’ve literally been here multiple times late night and they are one of the most consistent and delicious spots in Memphis. Also our server Daunte was magnificent! An absolute gem! So kind, attentive, and warm, made us feel like family. I would 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
