If you’re in the Upper West Side in New York, and you’re visiting the Museum of American History, you’ve gotta stop by this spot after. The food is amazing — the soup is delicious, the bowls are awesome, and the service is a solid 10/10. Everyone’s super friendly. Plus, you eat really well without spending a ton of money! Every time I come to New York, I’m definitely coming back here!

A well lit bistro, excellent service, original entrées, crunchies veggies, excellent “beverages.” I had the falafel without the pita (they were most accomodating an elderly gentleman with crashing bloodsugar), two Catskill pilsners, a huge plate of sautée brussel sprouts. Oh so good. An unexpected joyeuse festival on Broadway. The patience of the staff borders on indulgence.

Ohhhh the best Greek Salad I’ve ever had!
Please go there!
I added the great sweet potato fries to my salad and it was epic!
(The Parmesan was added from another salad we ordered )

I took the girls for dinner here after the color factory to my disappointment. I’ve eaten at westville east before many times – the service and the food is much better. We were the only table seated inside the restaurant so I would expect better service than what we got. Firstly, upon receiving the food the Mac & cheese bowl was huge so I asked if that was the kids Mac that I ordered and was told no it’s a regular side. The manager offered for me to keep it and he would edit the check. My string beans were under cooked texture similar to chewing rubber but I did eat them because the sauce was so amazing. I only received 5 yuca slices on my plate as a side order with my salmon. The chicken tenders were clearly over cooked, I was actually surprised they would send them out this way but the girls argued they didn’t want to wait for another order. Last but not least, after the food was brought over I had to get up from the table to walk over to the bar to ask the bartender for sets of silverware because my server never brought any. Even when I got up the server was in the back with who appeared to be the manager and both never came to assist me or apologize for the mistake. The gentleman, whom I’m assuming was the manager, is the one who comes to close me out and after he runs the card on the machine he preselects 20% gratuity. This I absolutely did not like and it topped off the awful experience. The service didn’t deserve anything to be honest and absolutely not 20% but I still left 10% in cash. I would never come back to this location.

If you have kids, Westville on Broadway is fantastic. It’s very family-friendly, bright, and surprisingly spacious. The menu leans healthy, is extensive, and works just as well for brunch as it does for lunch or dinner.
The value is honestly hard to beat for New York City. A large portion of scrambled eggs with home fries and toast for $13 is almost unheard of. The fries are excellent, they have all the basics like good coffee, and a great selection of grilled vegetables as well. This is not the place for a boozy, loud brunch, but for everyone else it’s a winner. Just make a reservation, especially on weekends around late morning. Five stars, easily.

I love this westville location! The food is consistently good and tasty. Even better the staff is so kind and friendly! Mia the hostess is warm and welcoming and eager to help accommodate any need or special request. Seeing her when I grab my pick up orders has become the highlight of my week! Highly recommend this location to anyone in the neighborhood who isn’t already obsessed.

Found this place by chance and hoped for the best. No wait for a table, helpful and courteous service and excellent avocado toast with the best home fries. My wife loved the scrambled eggs option. The latte coffee was superior and this turned out to be reasonable and a great find. Highly recommended.

You shouldn’t trust people who write a review based on one experience.
That said, I had the Cesar Salad. The best Cesar I’ve ever had is the one I make. Their version is beyond basic, which for some, is exactly what you need sometimes. The dressing fell flat, not bold- but it wasn’t bad.
You can tell a lot about the rest of the menu from the way they make their salad.
The $11 sirloin add on was a 3.5/5. Tender, cooked well but under seasoned, which I think is the theme of this place.
This was a delivery experience, the salad came intact and the steak was warm.
I wouldn’t pay for a repeat performance here, but if my boss wants to buy me lunch again from here, I wouldn’t say no.

Great family restaurant with a variety of options for all ages. The grilled cheese was delicious and so..was the freshly brewed iced tea. Great soups, fries and salads. We even got their coffees at the end. Overall a fun time. The service was a bit slow and off. They kept forgetting a couple of our dishes.

I LOVE coming to any Westville location when I am in New York! Today I went to the Upper West Side location with a huge group and they had a table for all 11 of us. There is always something for everyone to order including for any dietary needs. My favorite is the pesto mashed potatoes. I recommend Westville for any family or friend dinner.
