Tried this place for the first time. Not very satisfied overall. My typical go-to order is an Asada Torta and thought I’d try the Asada Fries as well. The torta was the size of a slider and despite having repeated my order multiple times I was just given regular fries. For 2 tortas, 1 side of regular fries and 1 horchata beverage my total was just under $30. Don’t mind paying the price, I love to eat out especially Mexican food but tortas shouldn’t be that size.

I loved the Pastor tacos and the pastor quesadillas! Tried the carne asada tacos and they needed some help. Chicken taco wasn’t bad. They need a bigger open sign cause it’s very hard to see from the road unless you are really looking for it. Over all we need this place in town and they are new so they are figuring things out. Give them a chance!

After seeing this place constantly hyped up on Facebook, I was genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The food itself was extremely disappointing. Everything we ordered lacked flavor, the textures were off, and nothing tasted fresh. For the prices they charge, the quality was honestly unacceptable. I kept thinking maybe the next bite would be better, but it never was.
They also didn’t even have beans available, which is pretty shocking for a place serving this type of food. Instead, they gave extra rice to make up for it, but the rice was so overcooked and mushy it literally had the texture of mashed potatoes. It was honestly gross.
What really concerned me was watching the owner roll tacos directly on the table while also using his phone at the same time. Handling food and touching a phone back and forth without washing hands is a huge red flag. Phones are full of bacteria, so seeing food being prepared like that immediately made me question their sanitation standards. Cross-contamination was the first thing that came to mind.
To make things even worse, they were mopping the floors with the strongest, most fragrant Fabuloso while people were trying to eat. The smell was so overpowering that I could barely breathe sitting there. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when the entire place smells like cleaning chemicals.
And to top it off, the horchata tasted like straight water — absolutely no flavor.
Between the bland food, mushy rice, questionable hygiene practices, and the overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals, the entire experience was just bad from start to finish. I truly don’t understand the hype this place gets online. If this is what people consider good food, the bar must be set incredibly low.

Westside Tacos is outstanding!! Carnitas and pastor are my definite favorites! The chicken is also awesome! Don’t skip on the side of fries either… perfectly crisp! Staff was so nice and accommodating!

I ordered a bacon, egg, potato and cheese burrito. I got bacon, a little cheese and potatoes. How do you forget egg on a breakfast burrito Ofcourse I didn’t find out until I got back to work. I had to refrigerate it and added some eggs to it at home
