West Side Slice is a true neighborhood pizza joint. The owner, Danny, was so friendly and you can tell he truly cares about people, his pizzas, and customer service. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, he was providing a free meal for someone who was sitting inside to warm up during one of our coldest evenings in Columbus. I shook his hand and thanked him for helping people in his community. And his response “I’m always here to help. Let me know if there’s anything I can do”.
Now for the pizza – into my first bite I was really impressed with the sauce. It’s full of tomato flavor and really delicious. The dough was well baked and not soggy or oily at all – even though it was thin crust. I made my own vegetarian pizza – onion/pineapple/jalapeno – and it was all fresh and a generous amount of toppings.
I’m excited for a new pizza spot to go to regularly and support this wonderful business.

Excellent beef pepperoni pizza, delicious grippo wings and a huge garden salad. I’m impressed with this place. Definitely will be back soon. FYI…My daughter loved the grippo wings. We don’t eat pork and westside slice offers these pizzas. A+

I saw an article about this place in a Columbus magazine last year. My family and I were in the area on our way home and figured that we would try it out. It has to the best pizza in Columbus and is definitely a hidden gem. The pizza crust is hand made and is a unique mix of thin, airy, light, and crispy. I have always enjoyed a good crust with the pockets of air, so this really hit the spot. We also tried some of their wings, and they were excellent. I felt that they were a better version of Roosters wings.
We unfortunately didn’t leave room for dessert but will be trying their cookies and ice cream next time!

First time we ever ate Westside Slice, can I just say that they have the best food that me and my husband have had in a long time The okra is the best I have ever ate in my life! The wings were so good, and the pizza was out of this world,not to mention the owner, so personable and friendly. We are definitely lifetime customers!

Hidden gem! Pizza crust was thin and just crisp on the edges. Cheesy bread includes homemade sauce and has the perfect spice on top. Great flavor for both and very reasonably priced. Danny the owner came out to greet us and even turned on the arcade games for our son to play while we waited for our order. If you’re in Columbus, Ohio, def stop here!

Yooo, dynamite pizza! Loved visiting this spot. The fellas that run it are real friendly and hospitable. You can tell they’re passionate in their craft. Really appreciate the option of having beef pepperoni, hard finding that for non pork eaters. Was very delicious, the crispiness of the crust and pepperoni was perfect. The sauce was really good too, more on sweeter side which I like. The pepperoni had a great spice to it, next time will add mushrooms after reading since other reviews. We also ordered a house salad, which was fresh and no soggy/browned lettuce, and plenty of cheese and dressing as well as a cookie pizza. Definitely eat that cookie fresh as possible, it hardens up quite quickly. I’ve tried around 6 different non franchise pizza spots here in Columbus since moving here in early 2023, would be confident to say it’s my favorite pizza here. I can see myself ordering a pizza for the wife and I every 2-3 weeks. They’re building up this shop and putting in arcade machines for it’s patrons. It’s tucked away in a corner plaza where you wouldn’t expect this treasure, which is usually how it goes huh?

First time here and OMG! The wings are cooked perfectly (we like them extra crispy), the Italian sub was LOADED, and the pizza is amazing! The dough is so good for the pizza, you can tell it’s made by hand! And the Grippo wings are to die for! We WILL be back!

Located on Demorest Rd by the Briggs traffic light. It was my first time here, & won’t be my last! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly. Turned out I came during Happy Hour! (I arrived Monday at 5 pm.) I saved $5 off of my pizza! I ordered cheesy bread which was like a stuffed calzone & a pepperoni pizza. The crust is a crispy thin crust. The sauce is a zesty tomato. The toppings were cooked to perfection. Everything was super delicious & I recommend everyone to try it! I will be returning! I am excited to try other items on the menu!

My friend saw a tiktok about Westside Slice that mentioned they had beef and turkey pepperoni options. Neither of us eat pork and good take out pepperoni pizza is something we’ve definitely missed.
This pizza beyond delivered. The flavor and ratio of ingredients was perfect. Like the old pizza places I remember as a kid. We got a beef pepperoni and a green pepper pizza. Even though we had asked for turkey pepperoni instead of green pepper, we couldn’t be mad. We smelled the pizza and rolled with it, and I’m glad we did!
We will be back and bringing friends with us!
