Had high hopes for this place after seeing that Guy was here! But nope- the only thing half decent here is the icecream potato, which I suggest just waiting for the fair to get. This place sucks. Burnt burgers, fries that are fried in old oil (you can taste it).

And staff who are very incompetent. For $45, go get yourself something better

Classic drive through/in with some outdoor tables. I got the “Famous idaho ice cream potato” which was fun and good. I love the idea. The Best Finger steaks had some tender beef inside but the breading felt heavy, fries were seasoned and delicious. Mostly self serve from the window. The slice of toast and fortune cookie were unusual add ons.

This place has a piece of my hart. Came here every Friday with the boys for a while but have slowed down recently lol. Visited again for the first time in a while and it’s the same amzing food and best burgers around. Greasy delicious food and drinks. I would recommend the daddy O burger if your hungry and the pooh bear as a drink. 9.4/10 slaps will definitely be back.

Large menu, fast service. I got the bologna sandwich and the coco shrimp basket. The bologna sandwich was amazing! What a surprise. It was about 3 dollars! The portions are big and there’s plenty of seating outside. I wish I went when I was hungry. I shared the items and I didn’t have a craving for burgers or a heavy meal.

Ok, my wife had it planned, and we dropped our bags in the hotel, and she said she knew exactly where we were going to get our first food. My wife is brilliant. I LOVED this place. You need to be in the mood for naughty eats and not classy tablecloth places when you go. If you do that, this place is gold. Apparently, we HAD to try the Finger Steaks, and the baked potato thing. The Finger Steaks were delicious, and probably not low fat. I loved them, and plenty of sauces around for the fries. Even that piece of bread in the picture was tasty. Now to the potato. To be honest, we weren’t even sure before we went and when we ordered if the potato was an actual potato, a potato with ice cream on it, or other. It ended up being magical ice cream all around. It was one of those desserts where I ate smaller bites because I knew I would be sad when it was gone. I was right. I WAS sad when it was gone. We debated on making time in our short trip to go back for it, but she won that conversation unfortunately. Anyway, you NEED to stop by here at some point. I highly recommend, and see you there (the next time we are in Boise)…

Came for the ice cream potatoes. But had a full meal. Potatoes were great. Grands swore they would never eat potato ice cream. But not a drop was left.

It is you typical American drive thru but yet not. My most recent visit was for their famous Idaho ice cream potato for a friend’s birthday. She loved it. I love that they have a wide variety of items from your typical finger strips and burgers to the Monte Cristo, Lasagna (ya you read that right), Finger steaks (don’t knock it till you try it) and homemade caramel bread pudding. This place is an experience that really delivers on the food.

My partner and I happened to pass through Boise on our car camping trip across America, and we’re so glad we stopped in! Everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and came out so quickly. 10/10 — we’d definitely come back if we’re ever in Boise again!

It was a different experience than I’ve ever been too. Food was cheep in price, we tried the potato ice cream it was ok, looks really like a real potato , but it’s an ice cream, just needs to be softer for me.

They have a fabulous variety of classic American diner dishes! The service here was amazing and we got our food within only around 5 minutes. We ate on the outdoor patio, but they also have the option to go through either one of their drive-thrus. I appreciate the kindness of the person taking the orders- very friendly. Ordered the Basic Idahoan, ‘The Works’ Spud, as well as the Shaved Rye Dip Sandwich- all which were very delicious and tasted as if they were made at home!
