I think the price is actually reasonable for the area. Give it a try, I highly recommend
I was looking for a restaurant where we could walk in and get seated. Westside cafe uses Yelp for their wait-list and I think we got lucky showing up when we did (8:40 am on a Sat), as there was no wait. Within about 20 mins though, there was a wait-list.
The cafe has a cafe in the mountains feel – wooden architecture with pictures of mountains and skiers. They have the same metal mountain cut outs that I have at home! The servers are nice and there is decent parking right outside the cafe. For the cold loving people, you have seating outside too.
We ordered the Chilaquiles, dirty Biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, with a couple of cups of Hot Chocolate and Freshly squeezed orange juice. Of the three, the Chilaquiles were the best – spicy, crunchy, great balance of eggs and cream with the spicy sauce, and avocado slices to top the whole thing off. The biscuits and gravy, and the avocado toast were also very good, but not as good as the Chilaquiles. The hot chocolate was excellent as was the orange juice (very fresh, you could taste the pulp).
Pricing wise, reasonable for Vail. Gorgeous views outside! Highly recommend!
To management or owners: make your menu more accurate, my dish came with sides that I did not know I was getting and I was not aware I was getting sausage gravy too.
