Im not starting with pleasantries because i received the bare minimum when l arrived last night. Took two bites because i thought i was mistaken on the 1st one. This food has a strong chemical odor. I wasnt able to eat it. Im fairly concerned about how they haven’t had a visit from the health department. After a certain number of hours, i think the dish needs to be thrown out. It cant be sanitary to leave it out all day. Pizza slices smell awful and it’s probably due to the lights it sits under. I think there is a chemical reaction happening that is creating a noxious odor. I Waste of $35. The stromboli was a lower price on the website than it was in store, not necessarily a deal breaker but something to be aware of. It was also very undercooked and whatever that cheese product was inside it, definitely doesn’t taste or feel like real cheese. I used to love Westshore pizza, but i guess the saying is true that you can’t go home again. If you’re left with no other option, order elsewhere or fast. Wishing better days for your business.

I order 2 pizza pies from this location through ubereats and this is what I received. Burnt, disgusting pizza in one box and I can’t even classify the other because it has different textures, no cheese and smells. When I called the location the y basically told me it’s my problem and that I needed to contact Ubereats which is another joke. Do not order from this location. They are a joke and have no food or quality standards.

It is okay, not terrible, not the best. Service is good and timely. Place is clean and looks great. I got the works and the deluxe Philly. Basically it was lacking flavor.
The pizza ingredients seemed fresh but they didn’t stand out. The Philly was the same, both could used seasoning, I could not even taste salt and I didn’t really taste the cheese in the Philly either. I’ll probably get the meat lovers next time and add some seasoning packets to go. If you don’t like very seasoned food this place is 5 star.

A burger craving brought me in to try Hot Rocks. I was greeted by friendly staff and noticed the seating area was spacious and clean, bigger than I had expected. Ordered two Burger Combos and a side order of onion rings. The burgers came out exactly as expected, were not greasy, and were plump and delicious with all the toppings I had requested. The fries and onions rings were super crispy, slightly over for my taste but still good. We also had the chance to try a slice of the pie, which worked! We will absolutely be returning here for our next pizza cravings. Overall very pleased with our visit.

Look when I say this is the best pizza joint in Tampa it’s not hyperbole it’s 100% accurate and truthful. I work in the pizza industry and have for almost 20 years. I don’t eat the pizzas I make at work I come here. Sorry Papa John I appreciate the employment but I gotta go to Hot Rocks for my pizza fix. That is because the pizza is top notch. The Philly steaks are phenomenal, and the gyros are loaded with meat. Nothing is skimpy and it’s all handmade and cooked in a proper oven. After finding this place, I will never eat a pizza from anywhere else. Eddie and Sam’s used to be top dog, but not anymore. This is head and shoulders above anywhere else you can get a pizza in Tampa. Stop messing around and try it. I have included some pictures of the food that I have ordered over the last few months. If you look at them without your belly growling there’s something wrong with you.

For the first time in years as an Uber driver, I was denied entry to a business’s restroom. “It’s for customers only,” they told me. Okay, that’s company policy. But I wonder, isn’t Uber the customer’s extended representative, their messenger? And more importantly, isn’t Uber an indirect partner of businesses, contributing to their image and development through its services? I think this helps project a better image of customer service. First, let me start with the fact that it is not brick oven pizza (like in the picture), it’s regular pizza ovens. Margarita pizza it’s not really Margarita (because it’s with white sauce) taste of pizza was mediocre, service was wonderful and place was sparkling clean. Let me first say that this is the BEST and most organized takeout food order that I have ever had. Each item we ordered was individually packed, individually labeled with the items contents and order number CLEARLY marked, and the items were thoughtfully and strategically placed to prevent the possibility of spillage or accident.
Now for the food; Cheese pizza was delicious, with amazingly crisp crust that was full of flavor. The Chicken Parmesean dinner was delicious, tender and juicy. The Garlic Knots were totally remenicent of a New York establishment with incredibly flavorful marinara sauce.
This was our first time ordering and it most certainly will not be the last. Our order was pretty standard fare, as this is a new restaurant, and we wanted a baseline to compare. Let me tell you Hot Rock’s Pizza is an absolute home run.

We decided to go try a dine-in meal.
Our whole experience was 5-star all the way.
We couldn’t decide what to order, so we got a bit of everything; who doesn’t love leftover Italian?
The Mozzarella Sticks were large, gooey and served with a flavorful marinara sauce.
Garlic Cheese Bread was warm, crisp and full of buttery-garlic goodness. Super yummy.
The Philly Cheese steak was huge, cheesy and crave-worthy.
The Chicken Parmesan was full of tender chunks of chicken, covered in mozzarella, atop a bed of perfectly cooked pasta.
The Ham and Cheese Club was stacked with everything good about a sandwich and beautifully presented.
The service and staff were beyond friendly, helpful and kind.
So glad that we stopped in for the full dine-in experience. The restaurant is super, super clean, well staffed with eager, competent employees; which, let’s face it – is darn near impossible to find anymore.
Highly recommend dine-in, take-out and delivery of Hot Rocks Pizza. You will not be disappointed.

Received a menu in the mail as most do. Noticed the pictures (of course) and they caught my eye. Started reading to find this place has SO MANY options , but NOT in an overwhelming way. I was hungry so figured I would order a few things and give them a try. Choice to have it delivered also. 1st. My delivery was not only pretty prompt for the amount I ordered but also not near as expensive as I anticipated. 2nd, my food was beyond fresh, ALL OF IT.
Now , what did I order? Well I kept it simple to start ; 2 different types of pizzas- delicious, fresh, and had a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce , toppings etc. , wings- had actual meat and sauce on them! They do not skimp on the sauce!(i.e the hotrocks sauce is really good as well) garlic knots- garlicky bread heaven, hotrocks fries- Cajun seasoned to perfection , and of course sauces on the side. I liked them all however , sauce is completely personal preference. Overall I thought it was great. I will be recommending this place time and time again.
