Tues eve we arrived at 5 thinking we would sit at the bar. We were lucky to get a table on the water. Tuna tartare appetizer was fresh and tasty. The tuna burger was flavorful and had enough dressing. The fries were yummy. The fish and risotto very tasty. Margaritas were on point. Love eating here when I am in Westport.

I cannot say enough good about this place ! We went here 3 times this summer after the 3 pm Sunday plays at the Depot Theater and they Did. Not. Disappoint !
I had the Steak Frites twice and both times they got medium rare RIGHT Both times ! My 3rd meal was the Salmon. My partner in crime and I both ordered the salmon, his piece was thinner and cooked correctly. I had a large piece that was thick .. and not cooked. They graciously took it back and brought a new meal. It was crispy on the edges .. yum and worth the wait for the 2nd try. Fantastic ! Both the waitress and the woman in charge ( ? Owner ? ) checked on the status of the replacement dinner. Excellent service !
The views are spectacular ! Even on a rainy Sunday ( the sun eventually peeked out from the clouds ).. imagine the full view is cloudy and it had rained a half hour before. The sun lit up sections at a time .. spectacular !
☆☆ Only con is No substitutions. I was able to ask that the tomatoes be skipped with my Salmon meal and they will do that.
You need to go here next season ! 2026

Had dinner out in the patio and lingered while the sun set. Beautiful spot but it was made it better by the wonderful cocktails, delightful dinner and perfect service. The Watermelon Aperol Spritz was perfect for a very hot summer night and my husband loved the smoky Negroni. We shared a plate of mussels before dinner and then moved on to entrees with delicious wines. We had the halibut which was a large piece perfectly seasoned and cooked served over corn and coconut risotto. Also served with summer squash. Perfectly cooked and delicious. We also had the scape spaghetti with shrimp and crap served in a wonderful sauce. Desserts looked great but we were just too full. Perfect evening dining on the water.

This place is so nice. Great view, nice staff, and delicious food. The bread and watermelon salad were nice and fresh. The salmon and steak frites were absolutely lovely. The cocktails and wine were also top notch.

I left a msg a month ago for dinner res and never heard back. And now I have been trying to make a din res for two weeks.. Sounds like the phone is set to fax machine? No email to contact either. Hope they make it easier to dine at their establishment in the near future.

Nice food and service, pleasant atmosphere, but it lacks just a little polish.
The dock is a little run down, as are the bathrooms – both are unstaffed. The food and drinks are exquisite as is the staff of servers.
The signature dishes and drinks are delightful and well made. Music is tasteful and played at a pleasant volume. Do try the seafood and myriad of other dishes.

We just had our first in-restaurant meal in over 15 months (!), at WYC yesterday, the opening evening of their 2021 season. It was a dining experience worth that wait. Honestly, this restaurant is better than it has to be. With the million dollar views, they could get away with second rate fare and service. But the food was — as in summers past — imaginative, impeccably prepared, and elegantly presented. Most of all, perhaps, the ingredients are of spectacularly high quality. We especially enjoyed some new-for ’21 items, including the vegan cauliflower soup, the grits with mushrooms (an appetizer), the cod (with fabulous hush puppies, of all things), and a subtle and superb spaghetti with crab and shrimp. The crew of young servers are enthusiastic, attentive, and clearly well trained. Hats off to owners Emily and Scott for making Westport the best dining town in (at least) a 30-mile radius. It is absolutely worth a trip for dinner here. We’ll be back again soon, and often.
