Been craving a good lobster roll. Visiting the area from Northern Virginia where it has been ungodly hot, so enjoying a tasty lobster roll and glass of wine outside by the water was pure heaven. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved everything about this place. Killer oysters and lobster rolls. Location is right on the water in a marina. Perfect summertime get away.

Really casual, perfect on a beautiful day. Order at a counter, then sit at a picnic table outside. All the oysters were fantastic. They offer 4 different kinds, all grown in Westport. I got a dozen, 3 of each. So delicious. A dozen was $34, so less than $3 ea. Not too bad. Lobster roll was 5oz if meat for $25. Can’t beat that. Clam chowder was delicious. Small parking lot but manageable. @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

First timers! Was taking a back road ride in our 2003 SC430 convertible on a perfect Sunny day. Just stopped for a cocktail. It was busy and a wait for a table. We will go back.

Our family has been coming to Westport for decades, and Westport Sea Farms has quickly become one of our absolute favorites. We love the relaxed picnic-table style seating right on the water, the fresh and reasonably priced seafood, and the full bar, which got a fantastic upgrade this summer with slushy machines for margaritas and other delicious drinks!

With several kids under 10, it’s hard to beat this spot. It strikes that rare balance of being laid-back and family-friendly without compromising quality. Boaters can pull up to the dock, or you can easily drive in. The lobster roll and clam chowder were standouts — classic New England staples, executed perfectly.

It’s a fun, authentic spot with real local charm, filling a much-needed niche in the area. If you’re looking for something more formal, The Back Eddy across the water is excellent but Westport Sea Farms delivers a unique, breezy vibe that’s all its own.

One small suggestion: peak summer days can feel a bit hectic. A dedicated hostess could help keep things running smoothly — we felt bad for the one woman managing both the host stand and takeout orders. That said, it didn’t take away from our experience in the slightest, just a small note that could make a great place even better.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This place is a gem!

The menu at Westport Sea Farms is limited in comparison to many other local options, but that is really a feature because the few things that are on the menu are excellent. The lobster rolls were great, with an abundance of lobster in a choice of butter or mayo. We split a couple dozen oysters from the local oyster beds. And the salad was fresh and simple. They also have a selection of local beers (in cans and bottles) which goes great with the chill vibe of the outdoor patio overlooking the water. We stayed and chatted for quite a while and the friendly staff never hurried us. There is not much else to see in this immediate area, but if you are in the neighborhood it is worth a visit.

Nestled along the scenic Westport River, Westport Sea Farms is the perfect spot to enjoy a local craft beer paired with a fresh lobster roll — straight from the boats that pull in right there. Talk about fresh off the boat — it truly doesn’t get any fresher than this.

The outdoor seating is fantastic, especially during golden hour. Whether you’re savoring oysters on the half shell, enjoying them deep-fried in a roll, or digging into a classic lobster roll toasted to perfection, it all pairs beautifully with a cold brew from one of the local breweries.

This place has become one of my favorite summer hangouts — especially after a day out on the boat or soaking up the sun at the beach. It’s the ideal spot to stop for a quick, delicious dinner before heading home to relax for the night.

Time your visit just right and you’ll catch one of the most breathtaking sunsets over the Westport River — with a perfectly toasted lobster roll in hand. A true local gem.

Oysters were all smaller than a quarter! Couldn’t even taste them
While the lobster roll looks good in the photo it had no flavor. The butter is just thrown on the side and not mixed in.
It does have atmosphere but I wouldnt go back.

I had a wonderful experience at the Westport Sea Farms tonight. I was greeted by a professional and polite hostess at the window who sat my group down in the available adirondack chairs – what an incredible view we had all evening! Each staff member I engaged with was super pleasant and attentive. We did not wait long for our lobster rolls to arrive at our seats, and they tasted incredible! The vibes were immaculate, the staff was outstanding, and I look forward to my next visit!
