Let’s start with the hits – friendly server, very cool atmosphere and most of the food was very good. The wings were good sized, flavorful and very much on point as were the fries – hot and crispy. My buddy enjoyed his Philly as well.
The misses were service and the pretzel. Our guy was super busy, got several things wrong and didn’t come by timely for refills. This was noon on a Friday, it was busy but not packed. The pretzel was super tough and in retrospect we should have just returned it. I’m not sure if it was stale, overcooked or what but I won’t get it again.
It was a nice day, so we sat outside on the covered patio — super inviting and comfortable. Our server (the daytime bartender, can’t remember his name) was fantastic! He checked on us often, kept our drinks full, and was so genuinely friendly.
I ordered the fish sandwich, and it was perfect. The fish was light and flaky, the slaw tasted homemade and soft ciabatta bread –reminded me of the fresh sandwiches you get in the Florida Keys. My husband got a burger with sweet potato tots, cooked just right with a light pink center. The tots were so good I stole a few!
We finished with the Baileys bread pudding, and it was moist, rich, and not a crumb left. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
The blue cheese chips were good, we wiped them out. Love adding the buffalo chicken tender on top.
Salad was okay.
Tacos were really good, though not authentic, and that was okay. We really liked them.
The Club Sandwich is loaded with meat.
It was quite loud inside on Trivia Night, but nice when it’s not too crowded.
Parking is a strip mall lot.
Server was friendly and helpful.
The also have daily special, but it was not well advertised, no sign outside or on the table or on the wall(unless we missed it), we only saw it in the restroom wall after we had done ordering. Wish they advertise it more (or server can also mention it).
Overall, all the food tasted great! The only suggestion around food would be the fries was lukewarm, wish it came out hot!
Our server Harper was very friendly and professional. Outside of her table visits through out our meal to ensure we have everything we need, a lady (assuming she is the manager) also stop by to check-in. We already appreciate it when the manager does table visit!
We will revisit and will recommend Westfield Tavern!
