Their food was good. Service was great! Some people with us got the buffet which they enjoyed. While we got ribeye steaks. One steak was grilled correctly, medium well and well the other was medium rare and it was not what we wanted. The small room we were in was HOT. The ceiling fan did not work. Even dropping the thermostat it took too long for the room to cool down as the brick walls hold on to HEAT so they need to cool down the room 5 hours before the room is booked so their customers would be comfortable! That is our major complaint. The steak being under cooked was forgivable but having a group of people sweating while eating and talking…is not.

The food is not always the best but I ordered the Mardi Gras chicken and it was ok. The chicken was a tad over done on a couple of places but was quite tasty. I will order it again but will make sure it’s cooked properly.

The sign inside reads $11.99 seafood buffet friday and Saturday. No mama it’s only on Sunday. And the seafood was all cold and left over from lunch. The yeast rolls were hard enough to knock somebody in the head. Not a place I will not recommend the western sizzlin in montecello Arkansas. Travel a lot and this is by far the worst

This place was just disgusting. I could not believe how sticky and gross every surface was. There were fluids and stains on all the bathroom walls. We paid $30 for the buffet and drinks for two adults. The salad was warm and wilted, the green beans were straight out of the can. It was really unpleasant, we left nearly all the food there. The one bright spot was a really sweet server who was attentive. Please take some time and actually clean the restaurant. How this place passes health inspections is a complete mystery. I can’t imagine anyone going back.

The food and service are really good, but the prices are through the roof.Maybe, it is due partly because of the pandemic! It had a drive-through service only during the height of the pandemic, and later closed down briefly due to it as is the case for many restaurants and businesses across America! It re-opened about a little over a month ago with their usual buffet as well as food you can order off the menu! The restaurant also has dining inside, and business seemingly has been great, especially the times I have gone recently.I have enjoyed eating here for many, many years even as a very young man!I recommend it, but make sure you bring plenty of cash or your a credit card!Finally,I would like to say is that one wonderful thing they do for patrons is allow them to eat free off the menu on their birthdays so if you are up for a free meal like i am, don’t forget to go their for your birthday.I am getting mine this month because it is when my birthday will be!Anyway,enjoy, and God bless you all!

Hubs loves a buffet and this is one of his favorites! This is the smallest Western Sizzlin bar we have ever been to but the food was plentiful and fresh. I didn’t care much for the cocktail sauce, though. It just didn’t taste right to me. I loved the salad bar even though there was no potato or pea salad…which I really didn’t need anyway! Hubs said his catfish was delicious and the shrimp was great. They had BBQ beef. and tamales too. The taco shell was bit tough but I made my way through it with good teeth and determination!

Server was wonderful. The food was terrible. Nacho chips were stale. Clams were rubbery. No butter, only margarine. Rolls were hard. Bread pudding was not cooked thru. Ribs weren’t too bad as long as you put BBQ sauce on them. Salad was good. Won’t be going there again.

Great service / waitstaff and great buffet with a large selection of tasty desserts. The place is clean and all the employees are cheerful and friendly. It was packed but our waitress was great on refills and bringing plates then taking the dirty plates to give us plenty of room to go get seconds (or thirds).
Food is done right and there’s plenty of it. I was impressed (and thankful) when I saw one of the kitchen staff actually take a dish of macaroni and cheese from the buffet that had been there a while and replace it with fresh instead of trying to mix in the old with the new. Some places don’t care, but they do here.

This town is on the fringe to nowhere so finding a reasonable restaurant is a challenge. I liked the $4 salad bar. I could pack enough food to get a decent meal. The $10 full buffet was always tempting, but after you ate you knew the quality and quantity of the grub was not healthy. The service was always good.

The only positive thing I have to say about this place was how great the staff members were. They were attentive but not overwhelming. They were kind and hospitable. The buffet should be ashamed about itself. I suppose IF there were absolutely no other options and you were about to die of starvation or thirst, you could go here and order a meal. “Stay away from the buffet.”
