This restaurant was great! The service was even better! The employees tending to customers were so unbelievably kind, helpful, and always smiling! I didn’t try the menu items, so I can not speak on their fresh-from-the-grill meals, but the buffet left quite a bit to be desired. All the good stuff was there. It just wasn’t great – the items were wildly mediocre. The dessert was amazing, though! Hot cobbler with vanilla soft serve?? Yes, please, and THANK YOU! Overall, worth the $15 for a supper.

The salad was fresh with everything that you need to put on it. My wife liked the ranch. I had French and it was wonderful. The lettuce had baby spinach mixed in it and that was really good. The hot bar had everything from large shrimp and fish to meatloaf and fried chicken and general TSO chicken. The service was on point and it was actually not that expensive.

Loved this restaurant.. You have the choice of all you can eat buffet with so many delicious choices or ordering one of the many meals cooked to order if you don’t want the buffet. Very good entre bar filled with many choices of meats, sides, veggies.. Salad bar was likewise filled with plenty of options and the dessert bar was a treat for everyone to satisfy a sweet tooth. Our group had a great time. Wait staff was very attentive and quick to refill glasses, share a smile or a quick laugh. Atmosphere was fun and so relaxing and enjoyable. It’s a popular place in a beautiful area. The quality of food was very good and you felt as if you were eating a home cooked meal. There was also some fatback pieces on the bar.. you don’t see that everywhere. Some unique and absolutely delicious foods to be enjoyed by all.

Honestly so much better then I had assumed for a buffet. The most outstanding thing was the service though, everyone had a smile on their face, and our server Jeff was a fun talkative and entertaining person. In fact all the staff were nice people. The food was while not as good as say a nice sit down meal, it was leagues above Golden Corrals food.

I used to help manage the Western Sizzlin’ in Salisbury N.C. 1981-1984. My friend & I decided to make this a little pilgrimage to see how different it was today. I was very pleased to find the seasoning still very much the same, still garlic butter Texas Toast, steak cooked on the same type grills. Our waitress Rhianna was Excellent happy to bring us extras & NEVER let our tea get below half a glass. I was extremely happy with our journey. We traveled a little over 2 hours here & the trip was fabulous!!!!!!

We stopped for dinner, not realizing this was buffet style. The fritters were great. The fish was cold, and the chili on top of the mac and cheese was great. Servers were quick with drink refills. The desert table was wonderful.

Absolutely delicious! We used to have a Western Sizzlin at the beach we went to when I was kid, but they tore it down to make it a Golden Corral instead – wasn’t even close to the same. I was so happy to find this location when we were on a weekend trip with friends. It was just like I remembered! They have the best bread and dessert bar of anywhere. There is a huge variety of meats and vegetables – everything was hot and fresh. The salad bar was terrific. Personal favorite buffet items were the shrimp, pot roast, rolls, and red potatoes. The wait staff was also very friendly, and great about keeping our drinks refreshed and plates picked up. We all left full and talked about how great everything was for days after.

Exactly what you’d expect (at least anyone who grew up with them and Ryan’s lol). Our waitress kept our glass full, we did have to ask for plates almost every time we went back to the bar. Everything was clean. The food was good for buffet ♀️. The salad bar was outstanding!
