I knew last weekend when I came to Connecticut for a four day vacation that somewhere there was a lobster with my name on it…..and I found it at this restaurant on Friday night: a 1 1/2 lb. baked, stuffed lobster, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and vegetables on the side.
Once my lobster was served, I knew I had to snap a picture of this delicious dinner quickly before it was gone. And then I savored every bite as I cleaned out that lobster shell while enjoying the potatoes and vegetables, too. The lobster was stuffed with a savory filling that was a combination of shrimp, scallops, and etc. The lobster was cooked perfectly. Since I rarely get to eat lobster, this meal was a special treat!
And of course, a special meal like this wouldn’t be complete without dessert, so I topped it off with the apple crisp cheesecake….yummy!
Kayleigh, my waitress, was so friendly, and the service was great! Definitely recommend Westbrook Lobster if you love seafood!

Spent the day at the beach and was looking for some fresh seafood along Rte. 1 before heading home. This was the best find for sure. With a welcome greeting as you entered the bar and restaurant we took seats at the bar. Place was pretty busy but we received great service from the minute we sat down. Ordered oysters and steamers to start, both very fresh and the steamers were the cleanest we’ve ever had. Ordered a lobster roll and ahi tuna tacos, both outstanding. Shout out to our two bartenders Sarah and Rachel, amazing service. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Came here to celebrate my son’s birthday because he wanted lobster and Westbrook Lobster did not disappoint! Photos displays the different sizes as we each ordered a different one. Service was great and the food was delicious! I was impressed by the range on the kids menu too.

Outstanding as usual. Since moving to Connecticut 5 years ago this establishment is our go to seafood restaurant especially when we want lobster. Each location they have is great. Since we were at the beach nearby today we went to this location. You cant go wrong with any dish.

My Husband and I dined here last night after a trip to Hammonasset. We were NOT disappointed!! I ordered the swordfish, he, the Cod special, both were absolutely delicious!
We also tried the pear martini, made with a favorite of mine, elderflower!
The drink was perfectly balanced, the pear, fragrant before ever taking a sip.
Our server was Robert ( Bobby), he was wonderful!
He was friendly, informative, professional and was there when we needed but not intrusive.
Literally the only disappointment we had ( and this isn’t any bad reflection on the restaurant) was that we couldn’t get my 1st choice of their delicious dessert options! lol We wanted the bananas foster cheesecake, however we were dining late, leaving near closing time and they had just ran out.
We got our 2nd choice, the butterscotch crunch cake.. WOW, absolutely Fantastic!!
We live about 1 1/2 hours away but plan on returning hopefully next month?! Highly recommend!!

Were referred to this restaurant by the check-in attendant at our campground. Was not given bad advice! Ordered the boiled lobster which came with corn on the cob and baked potato. My husband ordered the steamed clams and a salad. The food was delicious. One side note: apparently the waitress failed to put in my husband’s salad until late. The salad arrived after he had finished the majority of his meal! We tried the key lime pie for dessert and it was excellent. I didn’t take a picture because it looked so good that I couldn’t wait to take a bite! I was not disappointed! It was scrumptious! Would have rated the restaurant a 5 but the service kept t he score down. Would definitely suggest you try this restaurant!

I came here for dinner with my fiance while in Westbrook and was looking forward to trying the place out based on the reviews. I was also excited to try out their happy hour. Unfortunately they did not offer happy hour anymore since covid. So we got a spot in the dining room and ordered a seafood combo meal with the scallops, clam strips, and a bowl of Rhode Island clam chowder and the crispy brussels. Overall the food was ok, I wish my $7 bowl of soup had more clams, I felt it was almost all potatoes. I also thought the Brussel sprouts were a bit oily as well.
Our server was very friendly and the inside was cute. I liked the outside seating a lot.
