The artichoke dip was the only downside of this meal. The dip was extra oily and lacked flavor and seasoning, it tasted like a cheese pizza. There was no taste of spinach or artichoke. The tortilla chip had good structural integrity.
Drinks were amazing . The mango and peach swirl was delicious along with the hibiscus and green apple drinks. The bread was nice and soft paired with a nice honey butter.
Pomegranate salmon glaze absolutely amazing. The crust was perfect as well as the flavor of the glaze. The salmon was cooked perfectly.
West Texas feast is exactly that a feast! 20oz porter house cooked to perfection and amazing seared crust flavor. The choice of fried or grilled chicken the fried was delicious. To add the shrimp skewers had a refreshing flavor and variety of vegetables.
While the food in place were lovely, I must say. The service was very slow. We had plenty of time. And we are a very patient family. We felt it was worth the wait, but definitely not normal. We did notice that both the hostess lady and our waitress. Both never smiled and did not seem very happy tonight but hey we get it, service industry can be tough.
There is construction in the area. So it’s a bit difficult to get in and parking can be tough, so be prepared.
Ultimately, if you have some time and a little patience, the meal is worth the wait.
The food was genuinely tasty across the board. We went straight for the steaks and ordered the 16-ounce ribeye, cooked medium-rare. It came out textbook perfect—deep charred crust, bright pink center, juicy, and full of beefy flavor. Seasoning was spot-on, letting the quality of the meat shine. The burgers we tried (yes, we couldn’t resist) were surprisingly excellent too: thick, hand-formed patties, cooked with a nice sear and staying ridiculously juicy. Solid bun, fresh toppings—honestly one of the better steakhouse burgers I’ve had in a while.
Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the pricing felt fair for the portion sizes and quality.
Overall, West Texas Chophouse nails that “special night out” feel while still being relaxed enough for a weeknight splurge. If you’re craving a perfectly cooked ribeye and a comfortable, stylish room to enjoy it in, put this one on your list. Highly recommended—already planning my next visit.
Amanda was our server and she was amazing—warm, welcoming, respectful, and very professional. Her service really made the night even better.
Excellent steak, great service, and a solid vibe overall. Highly recommend.
I definitely over ordered but also did the bone marrow which was outstanding.
My server Lizzy had a full restaurant to attend to but she did it with grace. I never had an empty glass and she was consistently checking in without being interruptive.
Would highly recommend. Great value too, IMO.
We will come back, my steak and onion rings tasted heavenly. Stop in, you decide! David
