Drove 3 hours to Fremont to pick up a car. Ate at this place based on reviews I had read. Fantastic service and great food. Had the chicken chunks in house made bbq and fries with a garlic seasoning that the chef recommended. It is rare anymore that the food is home made and FRESH/HOT. Do yourself a favor and order the sauerkraut fritters. Actually, order anything and you won’t be disappointed. Best bar food I’ve ever had.

Stopped in for lunch during a work trip by chance. The food was incredible and the bartender/waiter was great. He was happy to explain how the food was made and was very proud of the food made along with their sauces. Completely worth the cost. Wish I could go back to become a regular.

Our server was either owner or manager or something of that sort. Was very attentive explained how their food is made by hand. Give us history and seem to know quite a few of our group personally. A very pleasant experience I would definitely recommend and come here again. Although I lived in Fremont for a number of years, this is the first time I’ve ever been here.
