What a nice hometown bar. Bartender was super hilarious, quick with the jokes and great sense of humor. Food was dynamite, best smash burger I have ever had. Drinks were great and it was not busy. Food came out within minutes after ordering. Fun little place with very unique character from the tables to the spider web chairs.

Yes, when you arrive in the parking lot your eye will be drawn to the old bus. Yet the inside of the building is more interesting. Kind of a modern barn coolness look. There’s a fun feel to the place. When you sit down you’ll quickly notice that the chairs have wheels! It makes for comfortable seating and eating. Splash some retro with the squeeze ketchup and mustard bottles. This place is about great food and fun. The waitress was fun and had great beer recommendations. I liked the food on a lined tray concept keeping the piles of food from getting away from you.
I went for the Reuben and onion rings. The rings had a light, clean batter that was tasty. The reuben was excellent. Bread had a nice chew, The meat was thick cut, nice, with excellent cheese and kraut.
Fellow diner had the buffalo chicken sandwich that was like getting two sandwiches in one! The third diner had a cowboy burger that satisfied.
Looking around the bar shelves seemed to have a large selection of alcohol displayed.
Music was good and at just enough volume to keep conversations local to the tables.

Great people and great food. Our first night in Victor we stopped here for dinner. No wait, though the place was busy. I had the hot Italian sandwich with the rosemary fries both which were delicious! Hubby had mac n cheese with pork which was equally good. Other couple had chicken Ceasar salad (which was HUGE) and cheese burger which they both enjoyed. Huckleberry drinks topped off a great meal. Would definitely go back.

I had the Britti tacos and house salad. It was delicious. My man friend had the WSY burger and he liked it as well. The decor is very eclectic and cool. Highly recommend stopping for a drink and some good food.

Ordered couple of entrees and appetizers. Most of the food tasted average. Sausage was very dry and couldn’t really enjoy it and the Cubano sandwich has heavy mustard taste to it. Jalapeño rolls were the best of the three. People were friendly and the service was great.

Fun bar/ restaurant. I ordered the Birria Tacos and they were delicious. Place has many TV’s for the sports enthusiast, channels had everything from horse racing to football, ect. They have an outdoor patio that is huge and comfortable. Would I come again. Hell ya!!!!

Dan, the best bartender ever, took great care of us! Our beer, burgers, and rosemary fries were fabulous! The decor is amazing with lots of custom steel work including the furniture!

I would rate this experience as 0 stars. We’ve visited this place a few times in the past, and it was good, but today’s service was shockingly awful. We waited for 20 minutes before a waitress finally came over after another had promised to return. They served one entree promptly but took an additional 15 minutes for the other two orders, leaving us without our drinks until the end.. It took another 10 minutes for my food, by which time it had gone cold. The second waitress who messed up our orders didn’t return; instead, someone else handled it. Our third waitress was kind and apologetic but couldn’t resolve the issues. We spoke to the manager, who offered a “discount” but refused to comp the tacos, which was all we requested. Their explanation was that the two new waitresses had only received an hour of training, which seems inadequate. This was a terrible service experience, and the food wasn’t that great either. We later spoke with the owner, who didn’t acknowledge any issues and charged us the full price. To top it off, when we mentioned writing a negative review, the manager threw my partner’s card at him. I would strongly advise against dining here, especially after having recommended it to our family. It was an embarrassing letdown.

West Side Yard is legit. They have a great selection of beer and the food was outstanding. I had the Italian sandwich which was fantastic. We sat outside which is a pretty cool space. The old school bus is definitely a draw for kids and adults alike. I am definitely going back the next time I am in Victor!

I got the mushroom swiss burger and was happily surprised they had gluten free bun option and not just a measly little thing either, decent size and tasty. Burger was really delicious too and the service was good. Oh and the rosemary fries were amazing.
