Great atmosphere. The live band is really good. They even allowed folks on the audience to sing songs as well. The food was served piping hot, just the way I like it.

I think the outside of this place used to look like a fish and ships restaurant. Well, it’s different now. The outside got a overhaul. But the inside is where you spend the most of your time. And I have it say… it is nice inside. Not too small, and not too large where there is no intimacy. You want an excuse to walk past someone you like by the way without being too obvious.
Anyway, my first time there and besides being searched – it was enjoyable. Then I realized I was supposedly on the West side of town, it that preconception faded away fast as the crowd was all grown folks. Which translates to chill and enjoyable.
There was an entertainer named Sly, who is a one man band and he was excellent. He played music from the 60 to 80s – I think because I did not know some of the songs because I am an 80-90’s era person. But I was still entertained.
I had the Calamari and Chips. Which was good. I started at 6pm and ended up leaving at 8 on a Friday night.
So, yes. Ignore the environment outside and get inside. It is safe. Has security, who will search you – and there was at least 7 staff on duty including the owner.

The WSO is my favorite spot. They play good old school R&B. Everyone dresses well, and comes to dance. The food is great. It’s and older crowd, everone is friendly, with no trouble. I love this place.

Food is not seasoned well and could be better quality. Some bartenders are not polite. DJ is Ronnie O who plays good music. I go because of the DJ.

Food was ok for $25 meal but then we’re they get you is on drinks no menu for drinks so you just order they are charging $ 6 for a coke same as a beer more than on the strip then they add what they think the tip should be directly on your bill never seen such a thing?? And the waitress has the memory of a door knob ,and not very professional. I would not waste my money at this place go to a real restaurant. I will report them to the better business bureau for this illegal automatic add on tip stuff

The atmosphere was great. Felt comfortable being there, not having to look over my shoulder wondering if a fight was going to break out. Staff kind and courteous.
