Standard, old-school ice cream shop. Offers kiddie + small – large ice cream sizes. I liked the range of flavors, but wished the seasonal flavors were a little more interesting (since they’re limited editions). Currently, they have a pumpkin flavor, but no special flair — just regular pumpkin. I removed a star since the flavor range is very basic, similar to what I’d get at a grocery store and the limited edition flavor wasn’t even particularly special. I was a little disappointed. Trying something different is why I’d go to a locally-owned or small business run ice cream shop vs get ice cream at Publix or wherever.
It’s cool that they offer wine and ice cream pints to go.

This place is really neat and “adult” friendly. It’s got the old school feel with a twist. You can add booze to your ice cream, such as kaluha, vodka and a few other options.They sell booze pops, too. The ice cream was good and it pretty reasonably priced for what you get. Lots of flavors, friendly staff, plenty of seating options, and wasn’t too crowded when we went. I would check it out!

From the moment we walked in, Isabella greeted us with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude that immediately made the visit enjoyable.
Isabella was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful while explaining the different ice cream flavors and soda options. She took the time to answer all our questions, offered great recommendations based on our preferences, and made sure everyone in our group was completely satisfied with their choices. Her attention to detail and friendly personality truly stood out.
What impressed me most was how she handled everything with professionalism while still making the experience fun and personal. Even though the place was busy, Isabella remained calm, efficient, and kind, making sure each customer felt valued and well taken care of. The service she provided added a special touch to an already great spot.
West Orange Creamery & Soda is a fantastic place for delicious treats, but employees like Isabella are what make it truly exceptional. Because of her excellent service, we will definitely be returning and recommending this location to friends and family. Thank you, Isabella, for making our visit memorable!

Overall an excellent old-school ice cream shop! They serve Hershey brand ice cream (no soft serve, just scoops) and change out seasonal flavors. They do have limited hours, so always check to be sure they are open before you drive up there. Also, check the weekday specials, they are nice bonus!

Came in earlier today and had a great experience. Even with a line, Grace had amazing customer service and was very efficient. The shop had a big selection of flavors along with milkshakes. Will definitely be returning. Love the vintage vibe, along with the music playing.

Such a great old fashioned style creamery/soda shoppe! The ice cream is amazing, and the milkshakes are big! Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. They also have classic treats in the freezer as well as cakes. Great seating area. Bar stools are a reminder of the past. Such a cool place!

This is hands down the best ice cream in the Orlando area, and just wait until you try the ones with a little boozy twist!
They serve Hershey’s brand ice cream, but what really makes this place special is the atmosphere…. it feels like stepping back into the 80s in the best possible way. The staff are friendly, respectful, and clearly take pride in what they do.
The seasonal flavors are fantastic, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into keeping things fresh and fun. This shop deserves way more attention than the disgraceful Twistee Treat down the road (check out my review on that one).
If you want great service, nostalgia, and seriously delicious ice cream, this is the spot. 😉

Bella was amazing! I let her know I have a nut allergy and she went above and beyond to try to minimize cross contamination. The customer service was far beyond anything else I’ve ever had at any other ice cream shop.

The cutest local ice cream shop! They serve amazing old fashioned soda floats, huge epic shakes, and Hershey’s ice cream in cups cones or by the pint. All of the Hershey’s ice creams have dietary restrictions labeled on them (gluten free, dairy free, vegan). They also have boozy options and monthly specials… Photos attached of the menus. Absolutely love stopping in here anytime possible.
