West-End Restaurant, Interlaken, Switzerland, offers a stellar dining experience. The perch filet was perfectly cooked, light, and flaky, paired well with the creamy risotto. The beef tenderloin was tender, juicy, and flavorful, complemented by the Colle d’Arra Merlot—rich with berry notes and smooth tannins. The Stracciatella dessert was a creamy, chocolate-flecked delight. Excellent ambiance and service. The owner’s warm welcome made us feel at home, despite being far from South Carolina. Highly recommend.

We ordered a fried fillet of perch that we found to be extremely salty. We asked an old male waiter (probably the owner) whether it was possible to have the kitchen to remake the fish. He told us this was how fish was made in Europe and he took away the fish and said “If you don’t like it, I will take it away, byebye “
I was left in shock and he brought back the side of the fish (risotto) and continued charging us the dish.
Lastly, the restaurant was full of flies (See the photo below). would not recommend for those who care about hygiene

Hands down the best meal we’ve had during our entire trip to Switzerland! This charming Italian restaurant was not only delicious but also incredibly comforting and inviting.
What made the experience even more special was the owner, who took the time to personally chat with us. You could feel the passion and care that goes into every part of this place. We chanced upon this restaurant while googling for Italian cuisine as my wife was craving for pasta. Thank you Jesus for guiding us here. We ordered Tomato cheese salad, Aglio olio and tortellini stuffed with asparagus (seasonal specialty). Both dishes were amazing. Recipe from the owner’s mother. The restaurant has been around for 39 years. The service is fantastic. We were well taken care of by Gabriel and also the owner himself! It was a wonderful experience. We end the night with a selection of Italian desserts. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This was the perfect dinner to escape the tourists and feel like a local! The owner, Paulo, was the most gracious host. He came by to talk to us several times and expressed his appreciation for us spending time in his restaurant. Had we been in town one more night, we would have had an encore. The food and wine were genuinely Italian and made with love. The atmosphere was cozy, inviting and warm. I highly recommend West End for an authentic and inviting Italian experience.

We just had the most amazing dinner at West-End! The owner is welcoming and walking around during dinner to check on things and take orders. Our meals were fantastic. Mushroom risotto (owner picked the mushrooms this morning!), two veal dishes both prepared so well and with wonderful flavor, and last the homemade gnocchi with meat sauce. So good! The cafe de amaretti was the dessert favorite. Highly recommend this restaurant !

The food was very tasty yet the portion are too small we had an osboko the gravy was amazing but the meat was too hard and almost uncooked, most of the portion was bone and cartilage and almost no meat.
The Rivaloi was a bit dry and dough a bit Al Denta for us but the stuffing was very tasty.

We came with dogs and the waitress was nice and hand us water couple of times!

Such a lovely restaurant! We had the gnocchi with meat sauce and a glass of house red each and both were delicious! The staff are lovely too, would definitely recommend to come here.

Truly the best meal we had while in Switzerland – the food was amazing, atmosphere very cozy and authentic, service was impeccable. The owner, Paulo (sp?), came by to talk and made sure we knew how appreciative he was that we were there. Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent real Italian and something that has a local neighborhood restaurant feel.
