This is the best drinking establishment in Athens. I’m so glad my kid is going to college here because I’m looking forward to visiting again and again. Their ciders are amazing and they also have a good guest beer selection as well as a solid selection of whiskey/bourbon.

Off the beaten court street path, you will find a quiet yet still exciting little bar that offers fresh ciders and cocktails. With a front and back patio, there are lots of little places to relax. We recently hosted an engagement party at West End Ciderhouse. We don’t live in Athens so had to do all the planning long distance – and it could not have been easier. Deanna was so helpful and her staff is amazing!! Would totally recommend this venue for any type of event as long as you’re looking for someplace cool, friendly and hip for your party!! And a place that has an excellent selection of beer, wine and cider. I hear the cocktails are amazing – we didn’t try any unfortunately. Next time I’m in Athens I certainly will though!!

This place was a referral from another great site in Athens called Jackie O’s. The staff there at Jackie O’s told us we had to try it, and I can’t say enough when a great bar refers to another great bar.
I’m not a huge cider guy, but this bar was fantastic. It’s on the west end of town and has a different vibe. Very mellow and relaxed. I did not have time to try their food, but some excellent-sounding dishes were on the menu. They were the only appetizers I saw, but they had some great-sounding stuff.
Very friendly staff. Chill crowd. Honestly, even though I’m not a huge cider guy, this might be my unwinding spot next time I’m in town.
They do have cocktails and beers, but since they crafted their own cider, I did try their driest cider, which, for me, actually wasn’t bad. My pallet prefers non-sweet and dry, so for me to give it the thumbs up, it says something!

The absolute best! Not a bar on the main drag, so actually enjoyable for anyone who enjoys a quieter experience. They always have a drink special and the bartenders are legit artists when it comes to mixing.

We love this place it’s super unique. Never crowded. Start off with Zinzerber and with a cocktail. Service here is quick and careful. No hot food but snack trays are available. Off the main drag in Athens for a more refined flare.
