Fantastic experience. The food is amazing and the price is totally worth it. Check out the burgers. These burgers are obnoxiously huge and topped with great stuff! The beer is flowing, staff is friendly, and the desserts…amazing. If you’re in downtown Bloomsburg, check it out.

You Need To Know? Stopped in on a Sunday to this Bloomsburg University Ale Haus. Happened to be build your own Bloody Mary’s which was a bonus & delicious! Food ordered was a Turkey melt on a pretzel bun, bacon, ranch, chicken cheessteak fries & finally a Husky burger. The burger was huge, the turkey melt was amazing, & the fries were very salty. The Bloody Mary’s hit the spot & made for a great Sunday. If you are ever in town for a Bloomsburg function, be sure to stop at the West End Ale Haus [Old Russell’s] for a meal & drink! Let me start by saying normally a decent place to eat. Close to home, option of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of charm for being a local bar. Went in to eat with a friend, right around 8pm. Hostess told us they serve full menu til 9, bar food til a later time. Our waiter took the drink order and food order at the same time upon our request walked away got distracted (admittedly so). This was not a big deal it happens and I was in no rush. Appreciate their honesty btw. After another 20 minutes I went to the host and asked if we could get our food to go figuring it was almost done and the dining room was empty, so easy cleanup for them. Walked across the street with my to go food and it was all cold. The pizza dip cheese wasn’t melted. Usually my favorite a let down this time. The dips for all the appetizers I ordered were good. Will probably return if a friend wants to go but might not unless influenced to do so in the future..

Good food. Waiter was fun and energetic. He was also understanding when ordering some things to go when I had to call the husband to get a new order from him since they didn’t have bone in wings. Got the boneless and flavor was on point.
