My kids and I love coming here. My youngest always gets the kid’s meal and it’s a good amount of food for the price, we get the Mac and cheese and it comes with your choice of juice box or milk and an apple sauce. I usually get a sandwich on sourdough bread and it usually never dissapoints, I love that bread haha. The reason for the 4 stars is because when I have placed orders online, there has been a few times that they have forgotten to put things in my bag, like bags of chips or my daughter’s milk or apple sauce but I don’t order online that often so it hasn’t been a big deal. On another note, it would also be nice if they had more than one bathroom and a changing table for babies, that would make it more family friendly.

I enjoyed a special turkey baguette (sourdough) sandwich with house-made cranberry sauce and an Italian salad. Both were flavorful and filling. Service by two employees was efficient at a busy noon time hour on a Tuesday. My orders arrived freshly prepared to the table where I was sitting.

Cashier gave pushback on my paying 20.05 for a 13.04 total, saying I could just give the 20. What? She hands the nickel back. Thanks. I had to repeat my order and correct her after she kept putting items on my sandwich that I already said I didn’t want.
My friend ordered immediately behind me and the crew didn’t make it – they made the soup order of the customers behind us and then they loitered in the kitchen until my friend came up and asked about her salad. The cashier quizzed her about it like she hadn’t taken my friends order 10-15 minutes prior (and only the couple behind us had ordered in the meantime). The franchise is good, but this store is clearly neglected by managers because the training leaves MUCH to be desired. This is the most disappointed I’ve been at one of these stores.

I ordered a pastrami sandwich via door dash this evening. Really looking forward to it. Unfortunately they put waaay too much mustard on it, so when I took a bite, mustard would come shooting out the sides and bottom of the sandwich. YUK mustard EVERYWHERE!! I’m so disappointed.

Good food. Great customer service!! I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and wanted something on the lighter/healthier side. Did not want to drive or get delivered so landed on West Coast Sourdough. Ordered online and walked over at specified time. There was a bit of confusion about my order upon my arrival, turns out I ordered at the wrong location. I offered to place the same order and pay for it at this location as I was not able to travel to the other location to pick up. They called the other location, confirmed my order, and made my food for me without charge. They handled this situation so well, I was more than willing to pay as it was a mistake on my end. But I will definitely continue to visit West Coast Sourdough when passing through Elk Grove or if I see any other locations in my travels. Southwest Chicken Salad was delicious! Would definitely recommend
