While hungry for a specialty sandwich we decided to check out West Coast Sourdough and we were absolutely delighted we did. The brisket sourdough was loaded with flavor from the BBQ sauce, cheese, and surprisingly cole slaw! It had just the right crunch on the bread, and the bbq sauce was sweet but tart too. My wife had a wonderful Greek salad in which she noticed it didn’t have any peppercini and the owner promptly provided a small cup full. My salad was also fresh and crunchy so we had a very delicious and filling lunch. Thanks for opening just a few months ago and we’re definitely going to return.

Flatbread was amazing. Like something from a high end Cafe. Italian sub was great too. You can get fresh baked bread to go as well. It’s not fast food cheap prices but the food quality is worth the price.

Quick Lunch Stop at West Coast Sourdough – Worth the Bite!
Popped in on a wild Monday for a fast lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the helpful, friendly service—especially for a first timer! Tried the 4″ BBQ Brisket sandwich (minus the jalapeño slaw, plus red onions). As a brisket snob, I’ll be honest: it was just okay. Thinly sliced with BBQ flavor, but my taste buds were craving that deep, smoky punch it didn’t deliver.
Now the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, YES please! Creamy, cheesy comfort in a cup. I’ll be back to try their bread bowls, salads, and maybe a different sandwich. Brisket wasn’t a win for me, but the Mac & Cheese might’ve earned my loyalty.

The cashier was very nice and walked us throught the menu and what he would recommend. He recommended the cracked turkey pepper samwich and it was amazing. He also recommended that i tey their signature sause. The other cook was very nice and brought our food out before we even sat down. Their ceasar salad was the best ive had in months. All around an amazing and welcoming experience!

Came in during a lunch rush. I had to wait a pretty long time for my sandwich but the food and customer service were completely worth it. Bread is amazing and they have very fresh ingredients.
Plus the staff was so apologetic about the wait time and even gave a free drink for the inconvenience. Will definitely be coming back!

I can’t speak to the atmosphere as we had the food delivered. The sandwiches were both really good, one brisket and one turkey pesto. I had the turkey and my wife liked the brisket but thought the turkey was better. We also really liked the Mac n’ cheese and the pickle. The order was delivered less than a half an hour after the order was placed. The sourdough does not taste like it does in the bay area of California, we lived there for four years, but it has the perfect texture and is as close as you can get without ordering on line from the Boudin Bakery in San Francisco (we have). To the lady named Melinda that trashed the place and gave that ridiculous description of the bread, well, she clearly wanted to write a novella and get lots of attention. Try this place, you won’t get a better sandwich in Chattanooga.

A taste of home!!! The best thing to do is order the hot pastrami, and then take a few loaves home. Sourdough is very healthy for you. Everyone here is super friendly, and takes pride in their work.

To be completely honest, this place was way too expensive for what I was served. A 6 inch french dip with hardly any meat in it, an overly fishy cup of clam chowder with overcooked potatoes, and a drink was $20! I was still hungry after I left, and so was my husband (he got the same thing but an 8 inch with chicken noodle). The chicken noodle was bland and tasted like it came from a can. Our total for lunch was $45. As a west coast native, I was so disappointed. I had high hopes for this place. The price, quality, and the amount of the food is what deters me from returning.

From the moment we walked in Adriana was incredibly helpful with directing us to the menu then proceeded to ensure we had everything we needed as we ate. The food was GOOD QUALITY, you can tell just based on flavors and satisfaction alone. Real food is hard to come by these days but this food was indeed real!
