I took my daughter to West Coast on her 21st birthday on June 28th, 2023. Janae, the bartender, was amazing, fast , friendly service, and she was very helpful in trying to find drinks my daughter would like. There were a group of guys there that were good sports and helped to make my daughters night a good one. They bought her a couple of shots and were very sweet and respectful to her. I highly recommend this bar.

I’m assuming the manager was completely rude to my mom tonight. She was trying to compliment them on being much better tonight than our last (very terrible) carryout order. He said “what do you want? I have two seconds.” when she tried to talk to him. She told him they did a wonderful job tonight and that it was much better than last time, and he said “I don’t know what to tell you” very rudely. We were rushed through ordering and he was so rude, but we still wanted to compliment them after all that. We are regulars here but have noticed that there are places who actually appreciate their customers, and like to hear when people have an “off day” visit.

The definition of a Sports Bar. hands down, the best bacon, jalapeno, cheese burger, in Lawrence, or anywhere. Ice cold draft beer served in a chilled glass. Dave, and his staff, never met a stranger, and do all they can to keep up at game time. Best brackets for March Madness, as well.

Paloma here is good. It was very busy when we visited, waited over an hour and a half for our food and burgers were raw in the middle when we received them. Wouldn’t recommend going if it’s busy or there is a big game on. Will say women’s bathroom was surprisingly clean for a smaller hole in the wall bar.

The bartender seems to be the cook as well. Ordered a burger and a BLT and waited over an hour for it. I had to wave down the waitress who was more interested in sitting at the bar than helping customers. At the 1.15 hour I canceled my order and went to Chillis across the street

Ordered takeout on 4/27, waited over 10 minutes before getting anyones attentions, and BOTH food items had a hair in them. I called the restaurant to let them know, and was told someone would reach back out to me. Over a week later, still no call or email.

Got burgers for carryout after hearing that they were good. Ended up getting the BBQ burger and the woo burger. Both were very good burgers but the steak fries that came with them were lackluster. They ended up being way too soft and no salt at all was on them. Had to use air fryer to get them to a better state.
