Today was my first time eating here and I truly enjoyed my food. My only fault is that the prices do not match up. I mean charge how you see fit but make sure the customer is aware of what they are paying. That is not something I wanted as a surprise, as for taste it is favoured to many west African cuisines in my opinion. No particular taste but some familiarity. Overall it was good food and the prices should be more reasonable. I however did read some comments and I don’t know why they said the service is rude, as I did not experience that. In fact the service was very nice and it’s a big part of the reason I would go back. Merci

Our go to place for West African food. My boyfriend is Sierra Leonean and he likes this place. We usually get the jollof rice spicy with beef and chicken and it always tastes amazing! The woman who takes the orders and runs the register (I think she is the owner) is very sweet. She even gave my 3 year old an extra piece of fruit free of charge. We always get our food to go but we plan on eating in sometime soon. Would highly recommend this place.

I gave 3 stars because I like the food but I will not be going back. I’ve been here a few times and the price is never the same. This time I actually used the menu to order and it clearly stated 13$ for the okra soup and 1 side. But she charged me 17$ today I usually pay 15$ but thats besides the point. I wouldn’t even be bothered if it were still 15$ but when I pointed out the price she told the side is charged separately even though the menu clearly states otherwise. That’s bad business for sure never again… let me add its not to much to pay at all but don’t lie to me about it when I ask why..just redo the menu and change the price. I would’ve felt better had she just said that instead of trying to play me like I’m reading the menu wrong.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 3 years now and just fell in love with the fish and the way it’s prepared. Unfortunately the quality has gone done and doesn’t taste as good. Sometimes when I order it’s great and then other times it’s not and she does something different to the food. After the last fish I received was horrible and won’t be back!

The older lady that took my order and gave me the food was so incredibly rude and mean! She over charged me for my food, when I was looking at the price on the menu but she was so mean I didn’t say anything. And I ordered Jollof rice which she said she had but she gave me fried rice. The rest of the food tasted terrible, the chicken was not the kind that I ordered and it was over fried, dry and so hard we could’t eat it. So basically I got the rice and chicken she wanted to give me not what I ordered, food that didn’t taste good, over charged me, and she was mean as hell. This city is full of African restaurants with great food and customer service, please don’t go to place. Just a terrible experience.

This is an okay place. It is west African and not specifically Nigerian… So take note. In addition the lady who attended to me, who I believe owns it came off as rude and with an attitude. The food is also fairly okay, as I’ve had a taste of several West African dishes and this one wasn’t anything spectacular. Overall, the place is clean, service was fair, but I’m not impressed.

My kids and I have been coming here for many years. We travel for about 20 min, 1-2x a month just to go eat here. And I will say this is by far our most favorite African restaurant. The ladies are so kind and welcoming they make you feel like family. The food is very exceptional and the price is right.

The portions are enough for too. The chicken is sooo crispy and delicious. Joloff rice is a very spicy and tasty cooked to perfection. And this is the only way to get me to eat salad. Lol
