Had an Oktoberfest a weekend or two ago, and bought three types of sausages from Rachel at Werner sausage. They were fantastic! She was also helpful because she explained that some of the sausages are 90% cooked whereas one of our selections was not which would’ve thrown off the grilling process for the entire party. Totally appreciate her assistance and the quality of their food. The sausages were not expensive either. Great for a large party. It was an absolute hit everybody loved it. Literally had guest asking to take sausages home!

Werner’s has been around for many years. You don’t stay in business that long if your not doing something right. We love to go on Saturday’s when they have the grill going and we order the Andoulli sausage . They have several selections all from their fresh meat counter located in the store. They get a pretty long line but totally worth the wait.

Like a butcher in Germany. If you want great German style lunch meat & sausages, give them a try. Friendly staff. They cook brats for lunch outside on Saturdays around noon.

Look up “specialty store” and you might see a picture of this place. It’s likely you won’t walk through the door unless you know the German word “Wurst.”
This isn’t really a restaurant. I believe they do have some seating, and you can order sandwiches, but this is more a meat and sundries shop.
The sausages are all excellent, difficult to find elsewhere, and not overly expensive. The prepackaged items are imports that you simply won’t find at any other store in the area. For that reason, those are pricey…

Friendly, great corned beef, get in early if you want to try the schnitzel. Delicious onion roll. Great sandwich prices. Packs of frozen sausage links and ground available. Fresh sausage available too. If road trippin, no bathroom so plan ahead. Picnic tables outside, one small table for 2 inside

If you’re looking for an authentic European German deli, you can’t do much better than this place located in Old Town mission. We are consistently pleased with the quality of meat and other items you can buy there.
The only less than optimal experience we’ve had is when we were given some Italian sausages that were still frozen, thinking we could just take them home and put them right on the grill. That’s pretty much a small complaint.
We also love the pickles and the German potato salad that they serve. Beats any barbecue joint’s version, IMO. We will definitely be back to shop again and again.

Been there just once ..how can the sandwiches be so cheap and what goes in that U Boat sammich. Had the U Boat earlier today and it was great…been back several times for the same sandwich. So delicious… they suggested the big Bbq sandwich for next time. I will probably try it. Two thumbs up from this guy…
