Werkhaus Pizza

Absolutely delicious! That chicago deep dish is great! We came here because a couple of my coworkers were raving about it, and I have been craving Chicago-style pizza. This place did not disappoint! It is packed, though, and parking is tight. Some cars were parking on the road. We got the only parking spot available in the small lot. The waiting area is very small and can get cramped, but the wait honestly wasn’t long, even with a few parties ahead of us. Our server was wonderful. I think we had the best seats in the house as well, all the way in the back corner behind the women’s restroom with bench seating. We kept talking about how lucky we were to get that spot. It felt nice and secluded. The cheesy garlic bread was good as well, and came out quickly. The pizza was soon after. It came out quicker than we thought it would, considering how busy it was! We finished off with a piece of peanut butter pie to share. I wish we would have gotten 2 pieces because of how yummy that was!! I loved it. It was all around a great experience with delicious food, and we ate the other half of our pizza for dinner the next day. We will definitely be back!

Not impressed… We ordered fried pickles, that came out near room temp and dripping in fryer oil. I’d estimate they sat in the window for a GOOD 15 minutes. Damn near inedible. Had I not just spent all day in the car driving to the fresh hell that is Cincinnati, they would have been sent back. I ordered an Italian sub and asked for no red sauce and Italian dressing on the side. Now remember…. I’ve spent all day driving and am VERY hungry.. The sub came out dripping in marinara…. Absolutely disgusting… So, I sat across from my wife and watched her eat dinner, hoping for some dinner for myself but sadly… it was soaked in gross red stuff and not what I ordered… Luckily though, you guys still give out pennies as change so I was able to leave a tip. If I don’t do MY job correctly and pay attention to details I don’t get paid. Very simply put. It sucks to suck, do better.

We have eaten here in the past and the food was great. We tried to eat here tonight but as we were being sat I noticed a roach crawl across the table in front of us. I wish I would have taken a picture but I just wanted to leave immediately. I understand bugs can be common in restaurants but that is why you practice good housekeeping and have preventative extermination. If they’re bad enough to be in the dining room, I can only imagine how bad they are in the kitchen.

I love the lively energetic atmosphere inside Werkhaus Pizza. The service is great. The original crust pizza is really good (REALLY cheesy). If you buy a medium (12″) or large (15″) original crust pizza, be sure to take advantage of the buy one, get one 1/2 off deal. We ate a 12″ BBQ Chicken pizza for our meal and took home a 1/2 price pizza for dinner at home over the weekend. It’s a great deal! We also had a large order of cheesy breadsticks. They were great.

This was our first time trying Werkhaus Pizza and we were right outside of the delivery area which was disappointing but decided to just go it. Placed the order 30-35 minutes later we arrived and realized I forgot my wallet. Drove back and got my wallet and was irrationally thinking this better be awesome or there is no way I’m coming back. Walk in and the staff was genuinely friendly and talkative. Once I got home and opened the pizza I was very happy. I never really liked Chicago style pizza because of the sloppiness. This was Chicago style perfected. Tasted good too! So happy someone recommended this place! We will be back for in haus dining. Please extend the delivery area! 🙂

First time there after reading so many positive reviews about their Chicago style pizza. Got a large pie which was plenty for 4 people. It was delicious! So glad to know that when we’re craving a Chicago style pizza, we can get one here in Cincy. (Also splurged on a homemade dessert – caramel brownie – highly recommend.)

We wanted an UNO’s alternate since it closed and this place was rated well for deep dish so we gave it a shot.

Looks like a local favorite as it was packed. Parking tough. Wait about 1omins on a Friday night so not bad. The staff were super friendly and even brought out a sample of the Hungarian Mushroom soup to try.

The pizza wasn’t UNOs as it wasn’t flaky crust. It was a thin crust shell but made deep. Flavor was decent but not as robust in flavor as UNOs. Overall really good but it just wasn’t quite what we wanted.

Great atmosphere – very homie and comfy and overall a fine evening out to try something new in town.

Love their deep dish pizza! We dined with children who made their own pizza at the table! They were thrilled! We arrived before the dinner rush, but it seemed that the waitresses were covering all the tables and keeping drinks refilled. It can get pretty loud when the tables are all full, but we were in the back and noise was less. Entrees that went to other tables looked delicious! Salads big enough to split!
