We had a great experience at We Are Dough. We ordered kafta, fatteh, eggs with sujuk, regular kaak, and puffy kaak—and everything was delicious and very fresh. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The bread was especially good, soft and perfectly baked.

Highly recommend if you’re in Houston and looking for quality Middle Eastern food. We’ll definitely be back!

This Lebanese spot has such a cozy yet spacious feel — it’s warm, inviting, and still comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling cramped. The decor is unique and charming, with thoughtful details that make it feel welcoming and a little elevated rather than just casual.

I really enjoyed starting with a hot mint tea, which was soothing and fragrant a perfect complement to the food. The cheese kaak was served fresh and warm, with a nicely crisp exterior and a soft, cheesy center. It’s simple but very satisfying, especially if you appreciate classic Lebanese flavors done well.

Overall, this is a great place to relax, catch up with someone, and enjoy comforting food in a calm, inviting environment. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu

The food its incredibly delicious and fulfilling! I loved the foul and the falafel, it really tasty, crunchy, creamy, all great. But, the only issue I have that they dont have more plant-based options… I know its a Lebanese place and they have what they eat in that country, however, they could make vegan versions of their plates. No need to kill animals and get their secretions to serve cheese and flesh… for sure there is a better way.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant.
I especially loved the eggs with sausage, the creamy hummus, the crispy falafel, and the juicy chicken shawarma. The meat manoushe with lahem b ajin was also delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted authentic and satisfying. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for tasty Middle Eastern food!

As a Lebanese Palestinian, I was genuinely appalled by how bad the food was. The meat pie was paper-thin, painfully dry, and completely lacking flavor. The sujuk looked like it had been frozen, then lazily reheated—definitely not fresh. In fact, nothing tasted fresh at all. To make it worse, the prices are outrageous. $10 for a single pie?! For something that thin, dry, and bland, it felt like a complete rip-off. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. For a business that just opened, this was unacceptable. I will absolutely never be returning.

I visited after hearing so many good things about this place, and I was not disappointed. The food is delicious, prices are reasonable service is quick and friendly. They offer only indoor seating. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. I had the Man’oushe of labne and vegetables, and Turkish coffee. The place is casual. It is absolutely worth another visit

Authentic Lebanese Delights in a Cozy Setting

We’re-Dough Bakery offers an exceptional Lebanese dining experience in Houston. The ambiance is both modern and inviting, featuring sleek black velvet seating and gold accents that create a warm and stylish atmosphere. The staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Especially Kareem!! & Sabreen!!

The menu boasts a variety of traditional Lebanese dishes, with standout items like the Akkawi cheese manoush and fluffy kaak. The kaak, a sesame-seed-coated bread filled with stretchy, slightly salty akkawi cheese, is particularly noteworthy. It’s best enjoyed fresh, straight from the oven, when the sesame seeds are crisp, and the cheese retains its delightful stretch

I recently enjoyed some truly delightful and authentic Lebanese food that brought to mind the charming “screaming cheese” from Hotel Transylvania—it was simply wonderful! The flavors were so rich and comforting, lots of families. Parking is not great if it busy however And I must say, the Turkish coffee was strong and tasty.

Service was lovely. The shashuka was basically just scrambled eggs, tomatoes and peppers. Not really flavorful. The pita was void of salt and hard to enjoy. The Turkish coffee was flavorful and super hot. Overall I found this a bit disappointing.

Visited We’re Dough in Houston and I am officially obsessed ✨
This Lebanese bakery delivers seriously fast service and the brightest, most welcoming vibe — feels like sunshine as soon as you walk in.

The meat plate with labneh and fresh bread? My ultimate comfort food. Absolute perfection. It even took my mom back to her childhood weekend breakfasts in Kuwait — that’s how authentic and nostalgic the flavors are

Don’t miss the fluffy kaak with akawi cheese (pillowy heaven!) and the We’re Dough chicken wrap, which is packed with melty cheese and pure deliciousness.

Safe to say this spot has quickly become a favorite. If you haven’t been yet… run, don’t walk
