We enjoyed having pizza at this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. The waitress, Hannah, was polite and friendly. The pizza was delicious! When we entered the establishment we were not greeted by anyone and had no idea where to go. After standing for a few minutes, we ventured downstairs as we heard people talking. We would recommend a greeter or a sign telling people where they should go to place their orders. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a unique setting! A gem in Spillville, Iowa!

This isn’t an easy review and I honestly don’t make these unless I feel it’s necessary. His kid runs the place and none of them have actual experience. This is the 5th time I’ve gone and I’ve been extremely disappointed. From being severed alcoholic drinks by a minor, from walking home without a whole pizza to go in our box, to finally being served a bright red old fashioned and asked to remake to which never happened because I was ignored. I’ve been here five times and keep setting the bar lower and lower only to keep being disappointed each time.

The atmosphere is unbelievably great. The menu is well thought out and the food well prepared. You can tell the owner is a foodie by the selection and quality. Hard to find a causual retaurant with a full bar where the menu is great top to bottom. Friendly small town service comes with the atmosphere, food and drinks.

Waited over 2 hours before food was served. Chicken was RAW at the dangerously pink level. I was last to be served with our group and could not wait for more food as group had another obligation.
