My co-workers and I all ordered the lg shrimp fried rice and I got crab wontons all of us hated it. There wasn’t any egg in the rice it had no flavor at all and It has salad shrimp that wasn’t cooked all the way soy sauce couldn’t even help it trash can the hole thing and the crab wontons are trash can nasty too they were salty with a hit of onion not sweet like Iam use to I wouldn’t recommend this place to the raccoons I will never be returning

This has been our go-to for Chinese food for years.. so disappointed with our last couple of orders/experiences. Wait times have gotten increasingly longer, but that’s fine if the food is still of good quality and the order is accurate. They had the best fried dumplings, and they recently increased the prices AND changed them to a horrible, tasteless, store bought dumpling. I could buy 2 bags of the same dumplings from Aldi for the $8 Wengs is charging. Other parts of tonight’s order went awry, but maybe it was just a bad night for them. Regardless, not sure we’ll be ordering from Wengs anymore.

Stopped at Weng’s in a pinch to pick up dinner on my way home from a busy day. It wouldn’t be my first choice, but I’m always open to trying new places. Apollo natives have a following towards this establishment. Food was standard, more on the darker side, kind of burnt or overcooked in some aspects. Dumplings were good, but way too much dough for me. Very heavy on the dough. Service was quick, I wasn’t waiting long at all. Employees were efficient and tentative. Atmosphere resembles your standard Chinese restaurant. Nothing good or bad to say here. My recommendation is to plan a visit and try for yourself. I am trending on the once is enough side, however your opinions may be different.

I ordered fried chicken wings, each chicken was undercooked. I told the lady and showed her the chicken and she claimed “it’s not possible for the chicken to be undercooked since the outside was dark” definitely not coming back and would not recommend

When we get takeout the food isn’t great, and the crispy chicken or crispy beef is soggier than it is crispy. But when you dine in, the food is always good.

Our first visit to Wengs Garden. We entered and we’re greeted by nice large fish tank occupied by a beautiful fish. Although the inside of the restaurant may need some updating and a little background music, we were welcomed by one of the owners. We ordered appetizers, soups and 4 entrees to share family style. The fried items were crisp and delicious, not greasy one bit. The accompanying sauces were very nice and added greatly to the dish they accompanied. The meats were cooked beautifully and the plentiful vegetables were cooked perfectly. We barely put a dent into all we ordered so brought some home for another meal. The owners have been in this spot for 20 years. I’m already looking forward to dining there again soon.

oh man. This is WHERE IT’S AT. Food is killer, substantial portions with all the flavor specific to each meal. I bought a wide variety of things and each was so super tasty. Filling. Killing. I love Wengs that used to be Changs. I haven’t had a bad meal yet there. My favorite is chicken with garlic sauce. I even have my husband hooked on this very flavorful dish. I have eaten it at almost every Chinese restaurant in the Valley and theirs is the best.
