I ordered 2 cup salads, 2 chicken tenders, and about 5 chicken nuggets, and I’ve been waiting outside for over 20 minutes. My total was $27. There are several cars in front of me and behind me just sitting in the parking lot waiting.

What kind of service is this? This location really needs more staff, faster service, or better management. Waiting this long for a small order is not okay. I’m very disappointed and probably won’t be coming back to the Beaverton on Hall Wendy’s.

Apparently they don’t do fries or frostys before 10:30. I’m not sure about burgers was too afraid of being dissapointed and getting the same answer.

I put service as average because I’m not sure if it’s a chain call, local, or the person working.

Not like my business matters to Wendy’s, I rarely go but I figured I had 30 minutes to kill and I haven’t had soft icecream in a while. Would have gone to DQ but Wendy’s where I live got me through some hard years when I was working 10-12 hour shifts (to be clear that Wendy’s is on the otherside of town and was not this one).

I’ve been a Wendy’s customer for well over 10 years and have experienced several different managers during that time, but one truly stands out above the rest: Alice.

Every time I pull up to the drive-thru, there’s a camera, and the moment Alice recognizes me, I’m greeted with genuine excitement and joy. That level of recognition and enthusiasm makes such a difference and keeps me coming back.

The customer service Alice provides is consistently excellent. My order is always correct, my food is always hot and fresh, and the overall quality is top-notch. Alice is always upbeat, positive, and reliable, qualities that are hard to come by.

You truly have a gem on your hands.

They will upcharge you for every little thing but you will only get half your order and you’ll have to drive all the way back before they’ll give you a refund. I literally only go to Wendy’s for the spicy nuggets. What do I not have? Spicy nuggets. I am not driving all the way back there today, it is late, it is raining, and there are stupid people on the road and I should not have to further inconvenience myself to make up for somebody else’s mistake, but you best bet I will be back for my refund tomorrow because this is some bullshit. Do I want the kid fired? Absolutely not. Do I want permission from the manager to throw 27 spicy nuggets directly at the kid’s head while calling him an idiot dipping sauce in my best Gordon Ramsay impression? Absolutely. Do I think that that’s going to happen? Probably not, at least not without me purchasing 27 spicy nuggets, which I am not going to do because I have no faith that they would actually give them to me with my order

In the competitive landscape of the American fast-food industry, where convenience often comes at the expense of quality, Wendy’s has carved out a distinct identity. Since Dave Thomas opened the first location in Columbus, Ohio, in 1969, the chain has built a reputation on a simple but revolutionary philosophy: “Quality is our Recipe.” This commitment to freshness, innovation, and a premium culinary experience has transformed Wendy’s from a single hamburger stand into a global powerhouse that consistently outshines its competitors in taste and texture.
The Fresh, Never Frozen Difference
The cornerstone of Wendy’s culinary superiority is its unwavering stance on beef. While many industry giants rely on frozen patties that are flash-thawed and grilled, Wendy’s remains committed to using 100% fresh, never frozen North American beef. This is not merely a marketing slogan; it is a fundamental difference that affects the cellular structure and flavor profile of the meat.
When beef is frozen, ice crystals rupture the muscle fibers, leading to a loss of moisture and a grainier texture upon cooking. By delivering fresh beef to restaurants multiple times a week, Wendy’s ensures that every burger retains its natural juices. The result is a patty that is tender, succulent, and possesses a robust “beefy” flavor that frozen alternatives simply cannot replicate. The iconic square shape of the patty serves as a visual reminder of this promise—it hangs over the edge of the bun, signaling to the customer that they are getting more meat and less filler.
The Dave’s Single: A Masterclass in Balance
The “Dave’s Single” stands as a testament to the power of a well-executed classic. Unlike other fast-food burgers that rely on heavy “special sauces” to mask mediocre ingredients, the Wendy’s flagship burger relies on the harmony of its components. The premium bun is toasted to provide a slight crunch and structural integrity. The produce—crisp iceberg lettuce, thick-cut tomato slices, crunchy pickles, and fresh onions—is prepared daily, providing a refreshing contrast to the warm, melted American cheese and the savory beef.
The use of real mayonnaise and ketchup, rather than a generic “house sauce,” allows the quality of the individual ingredients to shine. This balance of temperatures and textures—the hot beef against the cold vegetables—creates a sensory experience that feels more like a gourmet tavern burger than a quick-service meal.
Innovation Beyond the Bun: The Baconator and Spicy Chicken
Wendy’s prowess extends beyond the standard hamburger. The Baconator, for instance, has achieved legendary status among meat lovers. It is a masterclass in indulgence, featuring two quarter-pound patties and six strips of Applewood smoked bacon. Unlike the thin, flimsy bacon strips found elsewhere, Wendy’s bacon is thick-cut and cooked in-oven to ensure a consistent crunch and a deep, smoky flavor.
Furthermore, Wendy’s has long been a leader in the “chicken sandwich wars.” While many brands have recently scrambled to improve their poultry offerings, Wendy’s has perfected its Spicy Chicken Sandwich over decades. The breast meat is consistently juicy, and the breading features a proprietary blend of black pepper and chili flakes that provides a genuine kick without overwhelming the palate. It is a sandwich that relies on the quality of the whole-muscle chicken breast rather than processed, pressed meat.
The Iconic Sides: More Than Just Fries
A meal at Wendy’s is often defined as much by its sides as its main courses. The Natural-Cut Fries, seasoned with sea salt and often served with the skin on, offer an earthy, authentic potato

The drive-thru person appears to not have been listening when I gave him my order. They charged me for every individual item when I asked for a combo. They didn’t provide me a receipt. Pretty confident I paid more than what I should have. They also made it completely wrong sandwich for me.

Went in to pick up a doordash. I could clearly see the food was ready, yet nobody was helping me despite the store not being that busy. I tried to get the attention of multiple people to no avail. Finally I just grabbed the food and someone hurried over and asked to see the name on my phone. Why didn’t they have that urgency before? The food was getting cold. I hate to complain like this but feel it may be necessary to make a more streamlined experience for delivery drivers and Wendy’s employees alike.

I wanted to try out their ghost pepper fries and decided to place a mobile order to pick up. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Wendy’s. The interior was pretty clean. It didn’t take long for my food to be ready. The fries were decent, but more oily than I anticipated it to be.

I’ll be like I just ordered my food and they’re taking forever like they need either. They need new people or they need better service because this shit sucks because we are in chicken tigers in two salads and tell me how come they’re taking like 45 minutes to get our food and there’s like four or five people in front of us and then there’s four or five people behind us.

Awful drive-thru experience at this Wendy’s location. The employee was rude and completely ignored my requests for extra sauce and the WiFi password while I was ordering a Biggie Bag. Service like this makes me not want to come back—do better!
