5 Stars for the food—the Dave’s Single was fresh and the staff was great. BUT, families should be very careful in the parking lot and food court area. There are three kids on regular bikes (specifically a redhead with freckles and a black helmet) who are riding recklessly on the sidewalks and not yielding to pedestrians. I’ve already alerted the Rangers to this location for the 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM windows. Great place to eat, just watch your kids around the bikes!

We went to Wendy’s for lunch today it’s usually really good. The food was good the service was not so much. We ordered a double bacon cheeseburger biggie bags with a 50/50 Frosty, and the chicken BLT with a medium Dave’s signature strawberry lemonade. The lady in the Drive-Thru asked us what kind of sauce we wanted for the nuggets and we said sweet and sour and barbecue and she said they have a new policy that it’s 50 cents for extra sauce you only get one with each biggie bag. Clearly that’s the company policy it’s not her fault but 50 cents for a tiny sauce dip. I would have paid a quarter but 50 cents is ridiculous. She tells us the total to go to the second window. I was amazed it was under $20. We get to the second window and we my husband has the guy the money and he throws the change with the receipt back into his hand.. before my husband had a chance to turn and put the change in receipt down he was already trying to hand him the drinks. Before you could put the drinks down the guy was throwing the 2 bags of food out the window at him. Not literally throwing, but he was so quick to shove it out the window and give it to my husband that it felt like throwing. They weren’t busy, there was one person in front of us when we pulled up and one pulled up behind us as we drove away. I handed my husband his hamburger to eat while he’s driving, which he said was very good, hot and fresh. We’re going to eat the chicken nuggets, but there was no sauce in either bag. So first she tells us if we wanted two sauces it was 50 cents extra for one and then they don’t even give us any. Thank God we didn’t pay for one cuz I would have been even more mad. My chicken BLT was pretty good. The Fry’s in both bags were hard and not fresh, but they were hot. I’m not going to stop going to Wendy’s over this it was more the people that were working then Wendy’s itself I think it’s ridiculous they charge $0.50 for an extra sauce, but I guess they need to make their money somehow… I will definitely go to Wendy’s again and I will recommend it to friends and family.
The value is okay we got two big bags with a medium lemonade and one with a 50/50 Frosty for under $20. The biggie bag comes with sandwich of your choice that’s listed on the menu 4-Piece nugget and a fry and a drink.

Manager on site and lead person very rude and not professional. I asked for an extra ketchup and sauce and wa told very rude that I needed to request before I completed the mobile order. I looked at him really and he said yes and says to me there will be x amount for that as well. I will never come by here again

This store was slammed at the time we went (around 7pm). The drive-thru was backed up, and customers were coming inside to place orders. The ordering process was really slow, so the inside line backed up a bit as well. I think we waited in line behind maybe 3 people for over ten minutes. That being said, our order was accurate, and the staff were friendly. The good was average what you would expect from fast food. The dining area wasn’t exactly clean, but it wasn’t overly dirty either. We did have to wipe down our own table with napkins before we used it. Maybe they were too short-staffed to cover cleaning the tables and just focused on keeping the drive-thru line going. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Return trips: long drive thru lines, long waits in store (if lobby is even open), really frustrating experience. (All of these disappointments, we later learned, were due to COVID-19 issues and staff shortage.)

During our most recent experience, we were greeted and our order was taken by the friendliest employee we’ve ever met at a fast food establishment. Here’s a shout out to Angel! Thanks for the good experience!

No one does it, like Wendy’s does it.

This is a wonderful restaurant in the middle of a very busy area of Otay Ranch. Every time I have stopped in the staff has been super helpful and friendly. The food is always well prepared and we’ve never had any issues with our orders. It’s obvious that the restaurant is very well-managed and the staff actually likes working there. Definitely recommend this Wendy’s restaurant anyone passing through.

I asked if they were still serving breakfast and they said yes. I asked for bacon breakfast sandwich that they had. They lady kept giving me an hostile attitude asking if I wanted the #7. I kept saying the breakfast version since they said they were still serving breakfast when I asked. I couldn’t tell them the number because they had flipped the menu. I told her that too. That’s why I was trying my hardest to communicate the breakfast version. They gave me a normal burger. Doesn’t even have bacon. Just 2 patties. And this wasn’t what I paid for as well. I’m dissatisfied and disappointed in the attitude I was given at the drive thru. I’m not even sure why she was in a rush when there wasn’t many cars. Just one behind me. I’m not an argumentative person so I wasn’t going to go back and escalate the situation; but I wish she would’ve let me communicated what I needed so my order would’ve been correct and I get exactly what I paid for. If they wanted me to order from the lunch menu as well I would’ve kindly obliged; as long if I’m getting what I paid for. Maybe that worker had a rough morning?

Very clean bathrooms, prompt service, nice selection on the menu. Had an enjoyable visit, its nice to see a mgr. that doesn’t tolerate teenage vagrance. She was polite, professional upon asking 4 of these punks to leave the restaurant. It’s good to see this mgr.l does not tolerate ” vagrace” in the restaurant!

My recent visits to Wendy’s in Eastlake have left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. One noticeable trend is the reduction in portion sizes, accompanied by an increase in prices. This unfortunate combination has significantly diminished the value proposition of dining at this establishment.

As a loyal customer, I’ve come to expect a certain standard of quality and quantity from Wendy’s menu offerings. However, it’s disheartening to witness the gradual decline in portion sizes, which now leave much to be desired. What was once a satisfying meal now feels like a meager portion at an inflated price.

Despite these changes, the quality of the food remains relatively unchanged. However, it’s difficult to justify the increased cost when the portions no longer satisfy hunger as they once did. It’s a clear case of diminishing returns for the customer.

In addition to the disappointment of smaller portions at higher prices, the overall dining experience at Wendy’s in Eastlake has been marred by inconsistent customer service and lackluster attention to detail.

In conclusion, the recent changes at Wendy’s Eastlake, including shrinking portion sizes and rising prices, have left me questioning the value proposition of dining at this establishment. Management should take immediate steps to address these concerns and restore the confidence of their customers. Until then, I’ll be exploring other dining options that offer better value for my money.

The customer service here was less than mediocre, which already says a lot. We waited extra time for the tenders and two (of the boxes) weren’t even hot, only mine was genuinely hot.

And when I ask them why there’s no wifi they just stare at me and have no explanation.

This is an awful Wendy’s I don’t recommend
