Thought it would be awesome having a new store closer to home. Staff seems nice. I have always liked Wendy’s food. 1st two times that i ordered the regular chili they only filled the bowls 3/4 full. Next two times I ordered large chili and they still only filled the bowls 3/4 full. Is the staff trained to not give the customers what they pay for? I cannot say much about whoever designed their parking lot as well.

I don’t know what’s up with this Wendy’s. We have been twice and both times the staff was rude.
We did drive through both times. The first time we asked for yellow sweetener and there was a language barrier or something but they had no idea what sweetener packets were but finally we got 2 packets (we asked for 5 a few times during all of this) But they were put-out about having to give us sweetener. Also we ordered 2 saves doubles with no bun, no sauce. They gave us one with a bun and sauce.
The second time we asked for sweetener they straight told us they had no types of sweetener packets in the building. No sugar or sugar alternative. To us this actually felt like a lie/laziness because we could understand being out of one type, but all of them? Nobody is ordering supplies each week?
For a new location they really are not on top of it. We won’t be back to this location. :/
Also if Wendy’s could give the lettuce bun back that would be great for those of us on keto…

The 3 cheese burgers we ate where served cold, and tasted very stale. Fries and drinks were fine. I wouldn’t even mind that the employees had zero customer service skills and didn’t say a word to us during our pick up interaction if the burgers were on par with other Wendy’s I’ve been to, but it’s the worst Wendy’s experience I’ve had.

Oof. Rough start.
They send a full page of coupons, but are firm on only letting you use one (I’ve never had this happen at a fast food place). The workers were a bit rude because I had to go through them to use my 1 coupon since I can’t use coupons at the kiosk.
I was excited for this place to open, and maybe they will chill out after they’ve been open for a bit, but I don’t really have much desire to go back any time soon when there are other fast food places nearby that offer a much more enjoyable experience.

Food is typical and people are nice enough, but drive thru uses a weird AI that is listening VERY closely. When we were talking in the car about what to order, it started listening the as items we talked. After removing them, we had to whisper to avoid being picked up. Getting rid of an actual person that can make you feel welcome and offer help and, instead, providing a creepy AI that makes things awkward and impersonal sucks. I will avoid this location.

They forgot our sauce that it supposed to come with the nuggets. They forgot our drink and never gave us a receipt. Incompetence at its finest. If you’re going to charge people for sauce, you’re supposed to actually give it to them. We won’t be coming back to this location. We’ll take the extra drive and go to the Vista location.

Something’s definitely up with the location, it might just be incompetent personnel & hopefully not honestly issues, but when you use the drive-thru and you don’t get an order number or a receipt and find out you have shorted food don’t be surprised. If you really feel compelled to use this location take your time and go through your order completely regardless of the size of order, if you don’t have time for that then do yourself a favor and eat at another location.

Updated Post: On 10/26/2025 @10:15am, The young lady working behind the counter changed the menu while we were ordering breakfast. Didn’t offer an explanation, except “Sorry, we’re no longer serving breakfast”. DO DOT PLAY GAMES WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS…! THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT IS UNACCETPABLE…..Spanish Springs deserves better than another corporate run business that provides poor customer service to the community….We will NEVER return and know that Wendy’s has permanently lost a customer!

The drive thru ai is the worst!! I told the girl at the window that it was so terrible and she had zero response. It constantly interrupts you. It was super painful and couldn’t get my order right. The human should confirm in the window. You try to call and no one answers and you cant leave a message.
