Heading back late from a trip, we decided to stop here for a little something to eat. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful, but my goodness the mix ups. First of all the guy at the register did not hear my husband ordered the large fries. As soon as we realized what had happened, when we got the tray, my husband reordered the fries, and we sat down. The chili was correct. I opened my burger to find out that it wasn’t in fact, plain. My husband took it up to the counter to have it corrected. He sat down to eat his chili and burger, to discover his burger was missing the mayonnaise, but since we had already taken my burger back and were waiting quite a while he did not want to take his back. We were hungry too. Once I got my burger back, it was missing the bacon. My husband just went up and asked if they could just give us a few strips to add to the burger rather than remake it and have that wait, and they did. We still did not have the fries. The fries took a very long time and my husband had to go up and check again on them. By then he was almost completely done with his meal. The food tasted great and obviously the fries were nice and hot when we eventually got them. I was thinking this might just be an off night. Sadly, after reading other reviews, I don’t think we will stop here again.

Everything about this place screams 5 stars. The lady working the window was AMAZING! Very sweet individual, we did only have 2 or 3 things missing from our order but it’s not their fault we ordered a BOAT LOAD of food for a family function. Understandable! So we pulled to the front and I went in to see if I could have my order complete, the man up front who appears to be the manager his name was Omar was very rude in his service! Complete attitude and disrespect towards a customer that just spent well over 60 dollars at his establishment. In my opinion I think the girl at the window would’ve done a better job at managing!! She was very kind and attentive and even came to the counter and apologized for the mix up! Omar. Do better buddy. We all have off days but that shouldn’t affect how you treat customers. This would’ve been a 5 stars review but just that one interaction completely changed it.

Worst Management Ever – Avoid This Location!
This Wendy’s is an absolute disaster because of the way it’s managed. The general manager, Omar, is the definition of unprofessional and hypocritical. Good employees get fired for the most ridiculous reasons while the ones who kiss up get special treatment. It’s pathetic. You can feel the toxic environment the second you walk in—staff look stressed, service is sloppy, and mistakes happen constantly because morale is at rock bottom. When leadership treats people like garbage, it shows in everything: cold food, wrong orders, and zero accountability. Omar cares more about power trips than running a decent restaurant. If you value respect, honesty, and good service, do yourself a favor and NEVER come here. This place is a joke.

Great place. Best fries I ever had at a Wendy’s. They were fresh and hot. The GM, Omar was very friendly to my family and I. I have never had service like from a GM in a fast food restaurant. I will refer all of my customers and friends to definitely visit this location. Thank you Omar for making our experience one of the best ever!

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Wendy’s. We went through the drive-thru, received our order, and some items were missing. When we politely told the employee at the window, he immediately became defensive, insisted everything was in the bag, and claimed they had it “on video.” When asked if we could see it, he refused and said we weren’t employees. He said he was Omar, the manager and eventually gave us the missing items, but told us this was our “only warning” and handed us a number to call his boss.
No customer should be treated with attitude or made to feel like they’re doing something wrong for simply asking about missing items. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. Completely ruined our night. We will notify friends and family to avoid this place and will NEVER stop at this location again.

Seems like they have a large turn over of. employees this store has a fantastic location for business. Intersection of highway & major street. Visited Wendy’s #9032 near Bernalillo, NM on 12/6/25 at 2:36pm, spent $21.33. Chicken sandwich had no chicken—just greasy coating that caused throat irritation. Frosties were melted, fries only decent item. Manager Angel ignored my complaint despite 20+ minutes waiting. Corporate later offered “resolution” only if I joined their Rewards app, tying compensation to marketing instead of addressing food safety. Unsafe food + no accountability. Never returning.
Edit: After posting this review, I received a call from Andrea, the district manager, who acknowledged the management problems at this location and offered a replacement meal at the Montgomery store (9601 Montgomery NE). When I went there on 1/12/25, the manager Rebecca said my name wasn’t on any list and refused to honor what the district manager promised. Yet another example of poor communication and zero accountability across multiple Wendy’s locations.

10am…15 minutes at the drive thru window (only car in line) waiting on our 3 breakfast biscuits. Drive off to take a bite and the biscuits were like biting into cardboard ♀️ hard as a rock! It was like eating sausage egg and saltine crackers!! Never again! I’ll pay the extra $1.50 and go to McDonald’s!!

Horrible service. Waited 15 minutes just to say I had a mobile order. Waited another 10 minutes at the window for the wrong order. My frosty’s were melting, the fry’s cold. Received a chicken sandwich instead of my Dave’s double. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Was hung up on 5 times trying to call them.

Just went to Wendy’s on 528. Ordered a baconator , double cheeseburger, bowl of Chile and a frosty.
Came to 32 dollars and some change.
Got home my double cheeseburger wasn’t a double. He mistakenly charged me for a combo which I didn’t order
The baconator was just threwen on my bun. Very sloppy
I didn’t want to drive all the way back. Check your order before you leave. No way to get a refund on baconator that was supposed to be a double but wasn’t. Plus he put my receipt on the counter and never gave me one
