I write honest reviews, and a place has to earn a good one with the service they provide from start to finish. Unfortunately, this Wendy’s on Slaughter Lane completely failed.
When we walked in, the employees were just standing around talking since there were no customers inside or in the drive-thru. So, they took a minute to take our order. That should’ve been our first red flag. When our food came out, they gave us only two napkins in the bag and no ketchup. When we asked, we were told they didn’t have any. For a well-established chain like Wendy’s, that’s unacceptable-especially with Sam’s right around the corner. They double-checked and confirmed they were out, but didn’t even try to resolve it.
We ordered dine-in, yet our food was brought in bags, which felt like they just didn’t want to bother cleaning trays. When I went back to ask for more napkins, they only handed me one. To make things worse, instead of fresh lettuce, they used some wilted spring mix that looked like it was pulled straight from a salad bag. It looked terrible, as you can see in the picture.
I’ve been to this location before under different management, and it was much better. Now, it’s gone completely downhill. One star, but if I could give zero, I would. Definitely not recommending this Wendy’s.

Generally Wendy’s food is pretty good, but this one messes up my order and/or wastes my time about 1/3 visits. Last time they gave me two singles with nothing other than meat and cheese between the buns. No veggies, not even ketchup or mustard. Also it took me 23 minutes to pick up my “ASAP” mobile order via the drive-thru since they had decided to lock the doors due to a staffing shortage. If you want to make their problems your problems, feel free to try your luck.

Terrible service. I ordered on doordash, they sent 3 different drivers to pick up food and each driver was told that the order wasn’t there and couldn’t make it. I called many times and no answer. Finally when someone answered I talked respectfully to them and the lady got upset saying food was not there and can’t make it.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced the manager Mia or however you spell her name needs to be more attentive to customers and not turn away $$$ … tried to order a #5 crispy which I’ve done before plenty of times at this location and others just for her to say “we can’t do that” lmao manager is a damn joke and losing money out of pure laziness… I don’t recommend this place. Needs new manager cause she obviously don’t know what she is doing.

Came here a couple of nights ago, ordered a biggie bag, and as I pull up to the window, I see a worker standing right in front of the window where the bags of food are, and is biting his nails & clipping them over the bags of food. Just standing there with not a care in the world. I didn’t even get my food, I just left. Absolute worst. In other words, avoid this location after 5pm. Staff does not speak English and are always acting like you are an inconvenience when ordering

Went thru drive thru. They had a hard time figuring out my order. The forgot to give me one person’s dinner. Had to go back the next day to puck it up.

The food wasn’t bad we got a Caesar salad and Taco salad but when we ordered the woman wasn’t paying attention and I had to do two different transactions because she couldn’t understand English. I don’t mind different people but at least get my order right the first time. I told her what I wanted and then told her whatever my daughter wants too. And she ignored my order and only put in my daughters order simply because she didn’t understand English.

Absolutely terrible service. My mom and sister went to Wendy’s. I told them I wanted a Big Bacon Classic Double. My mom and sister drove up and the guy working the drive thru window didn’t know what they were talking about. They argued and my mom even showed them a picture of the burger on the Wendy’s website and that employee still kept saying they don’t have that burger. He ended up giving my mom a kids meal size double cheeseburger with some flimsy bacon. Jesus, what is the problem?!? It’s on the website. This isn’t a secret menu item, lol. Idk why that employee kept arguing with my mom and sister. Just make a Dave’s Double and slap some crispy bacon on it. Why is that so complicated? Terrible employee and terrible customer service. Don’t eat here.
