I had a bad experience the other Wendy’s in San Marcos, but because my kids had decided on it so we had to drive out of our way to come here… But lemme tell you, everyone in there working we’re super nice and after the bad experience we had before, it really was appreciated. Everything came out right and quick. If we are going to Wendy’s, I’ll drive a little farther to go to this one

The restaurant seemed almost abandoned. The fries were cold and the diet Dr. Pepper had no syrup. Worst of all, the menu board was black. You had to order from a few cards that had no prices. The burger was tasty, though. Usually, we like Wendy’s, but we are not coming back here. I never understand how service can be so slow when we are the only customers there.

Waited for over 10 minutes in the drive through with nobody else in line before they were finally ready to take my order. Then ther person who came on didn’t speak enough English to even understand my order and asked me to come to the window so I just left. Ownership needs to be more involved which is probably why Wendy’s are closing left and right.

Just ordered the ghost pepper chicken sandwich and the chicken in the middle was completely raw! Don’t eat here. Food order took over fifteen minutes, I don’t know how they took so long and still managed to serve uncooked raw food.

No breakfast is served here. Whomever manages this place doesnt wake up in the morning. A month ago they opened at 9 when online says they open at 7 i ordered online and when i got there no ovens were on and me and another guy waited 30 minutes for a cold brekfast . so they changed hours and now online says open at 9 then when i ordered a meal today at 10 (not 10:30) they said they dont serve breakfast at this time. So what they serve for 1h breakfast? Nope they probably just dont want to.

The worst food! I ordered two 10pc saucy nuggets, keyword SAUCY! Look at the nuggets if this is what you call saucy that’s pretty pathetic! Nothing at all like you advertise on TV! If you want to charge a premium for these, then you should at least cover them in sauce! UNACCEPTABLE and won’t order, nor will I ever recommend these to anyone!

All the tables and walls were dirty, dead flies on the window sill, and sticky floors. The AC mustn’t have been working either it was a little stuff too. It took a few mins than normal for us to be addressed/have our order taken. Other than us there was like one other family in the building so it’s not like it was busy.
Luckily the food itself was good and was served pretty quickly however that itself was an awkward exchange. My wife ordered the biggie bag but the order was missing the ranch dipping sauce. I asked for a ranch and the two ladies looked at me confused like if they had never been asked anything like that before. I explained like three times what a ranch dipping sauce was and they still didn’t give me the right thing.
I knew the boarded up doors were a red flag but due to limited “cheap” options at the outlets we just roughed it out.

This Wendy’s sucks! No frostys, or dollar bills. They gave me 26 dimes back in change. Which means no management in charge to get change. Employees all just standing around.

I told them 3 times the way I wanted my sandwich and they still did it wrong. Still charged me for the cheese and the bacon but there’s no cheese or bacon. Only the lettuce and tomato I asked not to have.

I really try to understand the strain and stress of working in a customer service industry, but this new generation (Gen Y, Gen Z, and hell at time Gen X) really need to understand the requirements when applying for positions in organizations. Case in point, when you apply at a fast food restaurant like Wendy’s customers expect courteous, friendly service. Why!? It is a customer service oriented business. If I s the customer give you cause to be discourteous then I would deserve irritated service. On this evening, at this location, at 10:40 PM David with order number 3146 should work at location that is NOT “customer facing” in a corner with just some tasks and deadlines.
