The last hope of Wendy’s in the Leander/Cedar Park and this spot just buried any chance for future visits.
Each visit here has gotten worse and worse. The quality of food has folded under pressure without the stress of a multitude of visitors for lunch/dinner rush. The pictures I just posted were the result of me being the ONLY car in drive thru and what appears to be 2 small families in the dining room. It’s a shame I’d have to spend another 5-15 minutes sitting in the drive through AFTER I’ve received my food for quality control/remakes. Not defeats the purpose of a drive through.
Only benefit of this location is most of the time the fires are hot
Their online support is even worse, practically forces you to speak to the store. Forget this location refunding you for any mistakes, just come on back to get your food taken care of (as if that’s always an option).
Save your time and money, go visit somewhere else.

So we ordered online a simple order, hamburger and fries, a salad w/ cup of chili and 2 medium chocolate frosties. The food part was right and we got spoons and straws but no frosties. We live in Bertram so im not going to go back at 930pm. Im pissed because my wife rips me a new you know what for not double checking the order. I didn’t order at the drive thru it was online, fail safe right, read the order. Very unhappy that a simple order can’t be served accurately. Call the restaurant to discuss but you get an answering machine, not even a real person so bad review from me. Wouldn’t have been if someone answered the phone.

We will not return to this location. Ordering through the drive up is automated voice ordering. No interaction from a real human being during the order process. Basically you place your order then it asks you a series of questions to complete order. Very unpersonal. Then you get to the window to see a person standing there. Why replace a person with automation?

Tonight I went in to take my two young daughters in for a simple dinner where they were excited to eat inside (we usually do drive thru). The cashier was struggling to understand my order, so I reviewed it many times with him. No problem there. When I received two cheeseburger kid meals instead of chicken nugget kid meals, I received push back as to whether or not I really ordered chicken nuggets. I tried to explain I thought there may have been a communication barrier. After 3 people came to see what was going on I got chicken nuggets for my kids. As soon as I sat down at my table the woman who I asked to exchange the burgers for nuggets, started talking about me to another girl right in front of me, using hand quotes when she told her coworker it was a communication barrier. I asked them to stop talking about me.
After feeling mocked and not believed about my order I could not stay. When I asked to speak to a manager before leaving, I found out the manager on duty was the woman who listened to her coworker speaking about me.
To boot, my husband’s baconator came looking like a kids burger with half the bacon he usually gets.
And for the record, my name is Rachel. The receipt said “Richer.” I am definitely poorer by visiting this Wendy’s. Such unprofessional and rude people running this place; prepare yourself!

I hate to say this, but it just needs to be put out there every time I visit The three times that I’ve been there the service of qualification of customer service is so poor. It’s ridiculous and it’s all the way from team member to management and that’s the sad part. I know what it is what the animosity they have with the issues they have with the people whatever it is and it says I don’t know the service is just poor qualification in poor care membership basically is what it is. I hope let it down in the future that it works out. It makes it better but until then, I will never go there. I will never take my family there my friends there it’s just the whole atmosphere. It’s just its offputting basic is what it is.

I don’t get where all the hate for Wendy’s AI DT system is coming from. It took my order flawlessly. With an order confirmation screen it’s easy to make sure your order is placed correctly. What many people hating AI don’t seem to realize is that most order takers in this business are mostly poorly trained employees who either don’t speak English well or just don’t care about customer service. An AI system will never tell you “I’ll be with you in a minute”. This system is the future and will be standard in nearly every major fast food restaurant soon and it won’t be long until everyone embraces it.
The food was actually very good. My burger was made exactly the same way I ordered it and my chili was served with chili sauce as I had requested. The beverage I had was perfectly carbonated.

The food at this location is pretty good, as Wendy’s go. Haven’t had a bad meal yet in a handful of times stopping by. There is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service and the cleanliness of the dining area though.
Most of the employees will help you, but none of them (except for one middle-aged woman who was working there initially, but seems to have moved on) have been what I’d call eager. I’ve been the only person in the place more than once and still had to wait for someone to finish up a casual conversation in the kitchen before deciding to come help me, only to receive a look as though I inconvenienced them.
The dine-in area has been pretty dirty every time I’ve gone. From frosty spilled on tables and left to dry, to stale/nasty smelling water in the flower vases they decided to add to the tables. It was clean for the first week or two, but that fell off pretty fast.
If you do decide to go here, just hit the drive-thru instead of coming in.

Slowest service I’ve ever seen at a Wendy’s. On more than one occasion, I have waited an extended amount of time for a simple order. Today, after waiting in line for almost 20 minutes, when I finally reach the window, I am told that their fryer isn’t working. If that is the case, turn off the AI ordering so that you aren’t taking orders that you cannot fill. Very frustrating to waste my entire lunch break.

Waited 30 mins for a mobile order. Once I finally got the food everything was cold except the fries which was their excuse for everything taking so long. This location needs to be shut down. I know with how cold these burgers were that I got, they were made 30 mins prior and they still served them to me. No clue if they forgot about me or what they were doing in there. A health code violation. Not to mention the employees were grabbing frozen fries with their hands after handling money, handling dirty cleaning rags, and putting them in the fryer. Absolutely disgusting. Tried to call to ask for a refund and their number just goes straight to voicemail.

* add on from may 17th, apparently they 4 ladies that were working today are unable to talk and talk orders so now wendys has a automated voice to take your order. Sad to see 15$ hour employees not able to take an order. I ordered a baconnador from this location, and this is what I got. This isn’t the first time either. This location will not make it longer than 3 years if this keeps up. 2.5 stars and yall just opened. Bad look. Maybe they need to make some management changes
