This is a new Wendy’s in Donna, TX, on the southeast side of the intersection of Interstate 2 (Hwy. 83) and Valverde Road, and next to the Circle K truck stop. The facilities are brand new, are clean, and looks very sleek.
There are two lanes for drive through orders, and plenty of parking. The dining room is sleek, modern, minimalist, but colorful. They do not have a children’s play place. I did not check to see if they offer WiFi.
Order at a kiosk, with the app, or online with a card, or at the counter with cash or card. I ordered at the counter, and the young lady who took my order was friendly and helpful, repeating a couple of options I needed to hear again.
The food was made promptly, fresh and hot. It was take-out, a special request from my wife, and she was pleased with what she received.
I remember the “Where’s the beef?!” commercials from the mid 1980’s, and Wendy’s has always been a favorite, whether it was their burgers, chili and fries, baked potatoes or breakfast croissants, I’ve always found something I enjoyed on their menu. Try out this new location. I think you’ll like it.

I dont who is doing the hiring or what at this Donna location but WOW the staff is always so nice and friendly. They greet you, smile and make sure you have everything you need. I feel like I’m being punked LOL. Yes the food is good, but the staff is what makes people coming back. They actually look like they like their job and not all miserable like some other fast-food places.

We recently visited this location and had an amazing experience! The store was spotless, the staff was extremely friendly, and everyone greeted us right when we walked in. The food was hot, fresh, and honestly exceeded our expectations. We truly wish every Wendy’s operated like this one.

The food is horrible. Fries are so burnt, old, and hard. Management needs to get it together with the quality of their products. Customer service was good. They were very quick and informative of there products. It’s not the workers fault. Had the Asiago Chicken and the chicken was fried but also looked old.

I came here immediately after having a bad experience at the Weslaco Wendy’s. I gave this Wendy’s the benefit of the doubt hoping that they couldn’t all be bad. At the Weslaco Wendy’s I wasn’t given any sauce with my Wednesday meal after asking for some (even asked for extra). They also didn’t have any frosties so I couldn’t get the MAIN PART of the Wednesday meal, so before even ordering my food here I asked if they had the Wednesday sauces and the frosties and explained my situation and asked if i could just get the sauces and the frosties so i wouldn’t have to pay for the meal all over again. to no surprise, i was not able to do that and in fact had to order the meal again. when i received the frosties, it was dark so i couldn’t see how much of an abomination it was, but it quickly came to light when i got home. just look at the picture. it’ll explain it all. i mean is there any actual ice cream in there?!? it was seriously ALL LIQUID!!! they also clearly didn’t fill it all the way either.

I personally witnessed the guy working the drive through window STICK HIS BARE HANDS IN THE ICE MACHINE AND PUT THE ICE IN HIS MOUTH!! Fingers and all went right in his mouth!!

For a new Wendy’s the food is horrible my burger patties were so dry the cheese look like it had been sitting on it for a while already the nuggets were hard and the fries were not fresh at all !!! I did not receive a receipt either . I should have just wasted the extra gas to go to weslaco .

Chicken is only available breaded and fried in any meal offering. Newer restaurant design, so only hard flat seating. Staff was courteous and efficient.

Bought a five for five and a salad, hamburger was soggy. Nuggets hard and dry they also gave me half open sauce packets. My Salads chicken was really over cooked. Not enjoyable at all.
