One star because of two issues. One, I couldn’t eat my whole Asiago sandwich as the fried chicken tasted like old cooking oil.. Two, after spending $12 on the meal I have to pay additional 50 cents per BBQ sauce packet which is wild. I lost my appetite halfway thru the sandwich. Fries were good. Sugar cookie was the best part of this whole meal.

There was maybe only one other person in the business with us. We ordered simple items, the Biggie bags and a taco salad with chocolate frosties. I loved my salad and ate the whole thing. The manager was friendly and there was very little wait between ordering and receiving our food. There were no problems with our food and no issues with ordering or receiving our stuff.

Would do negative rating if I could. Ordered ahead with mobile order 20 minutes prior to arrival. Got there and they said “waiting on nuggets” so told me to pull forward while I wait even though I was the only car. Ok whatever. They give me my order and I check to make sure it’s right and it’s not. I’m missing a chicken sandwich. So I back up in the drive through and let them know I’m missing a chicken sandwich. The lady rudely asked if I checked all my bags and I did, twice. Then she tells me to pull forward again, and I asked how long it’ll be- she says “I don’t know” so I say well can you please find out since I have already been waiting a while at this point- she shuts the window in my face after huffing real loud and proceeds to roll her eyes. WOW worst customer service ever when they were the ones who got my order wrong. Avoid at all costs.

If you’re traveling down I35 and you’ve made the mistake of bypassing towns with far better food selections, nothing will be more than just below average than this Wendy’s during a post lunch crowd stop. Floors and tables covered in a sticky fast food residue create the perfect atmosphere for the occasional flies. The smell of the dank carpet fills the air with an aroma that tells your nose that there’s a rich ecosystem to be found below your feet. The conditions are tolerable for some, but you’re not going to find yourself suggesting a return trip any time soon. Enjoy your sandwich, with flattened, soggy bread which is expectedly different than what the overhyped marketing pictures depict.

Normally when I mobile order about this time (7:00pm) I get there and not always but sometimes I’m greeted and then shoved off to the side to wait forever and it had caused me to stop going as often but tonight whoever was working window and cook were amazing! She was so nice and they were so fast that it made my past grudges disappear. I wish I had gotten their names but I didn’t so please look into who was working the shift around 7:20pm on 5-10-25 and show them some appreciation!
