we seldom eat fast food but had been hiking dec.24 so stopped at Wendy s. it was spotless, with beautiful decor (even real wood tables). the staff,understandably could have been alittle off having to work a holiday. but we didn’t sense that at all. they were very well-groomed, kind, polite and efficient.

Food was as expected, got the $7.00 biggie bag with bacon double. Drink selection very good thanks to the machine but ice was slow. Bathroom was clean but completely out of TP. Dining area was clean and well maintained.

The guy that’s always at the window is friendly and they always get our order right. Very rarely are the fries or nuggets not right out of the fryer.
If they steamed or toasted the buns on the small burgers, that’d be nice.

I drop by Wendy’s occasionally just to get something a little different in a burger..and because I love a Frosty. Today I got Cinnabon for the first time at Wendy’s AND the $3 tag for a free Frosty with an order all year long! I envision many more sandwiches from Wendy’s in 2025 with a Frosty to go.

I got 4 baked potatoes and they was disgusting. Cold shriveled up and the white part of potato was dark brown. I wouldn’t serve my dog that!! They should be ashamed to give that too anybody. Never order baked potato from there. I had to repeat my order 4 times and when I got to the window the girl had to ask again what I ordered!! Crappy burnt food!! Don’t order no baked potato here.

When waiting in the drive through, My wife and I saw a team member taking out trash, while still wearing food preparation gloves. As a guest, I have no way of knowing that he washed his hands and changed his gloves when he went inside to make our food. Food safety is crucial, and I feel like it is not being held in high enough regards.

(((((Excuse my mis punctuation))))) For starters, when I walked up and approached the counter, there was definitely an aroma of summer day dog and 1 week old bologna out the trash. It’s not usual when it’s not supposed to be in the environment and overpowering the food. Secondly, as an American from kkk and slavery background from both sides of the family out of eastern North Carolina, I’m the first to be able to read unusual vibes in an atmosphere. Usually, you can tell easily when you read and see people’s interactions with you vs. others and unusual looks you get, but for me, I can tell in just the way people act with their persona. I debated about leaving this, but for the ones like me or others who may not be from the area (TRUCKERS) with any visual afro american decent, check your food and be careful in these areas. It’s not often me as someone who travels around the country I come across this type of atmosphere but from what I know from family experience being I’m mixed and from both sides of the tracks this can definitely effect your service and food quality as mine was. My whole experience with the cashier was horrible and unusual from her smiles with the hillbillies in front of me to me getting the what are you doing here looks. I asked for a Dave’s triple no mayo = sour look from cashier. I asked for a large cup of ice cream = was given the small cup and told me that’s correct for ice cream. Asked for a large chili and received the small red cup for that and a large fry = $17. What’s sad is if this all was correct from the store, then it’s sad an atmosphere can make you feel this way regardless. Horrible place, but hey, it is AR-CANS-ASSSS !
