This morning, we started with breakfast at Wendy’s. Our hotel at Maison Saint Charles provided coffee at the lobby. So Tom went to Wendy’s next door just for the biscuits. At Wendy’s, unlike Popeye’s , there weren’t any posters that indicated what were the deals that were on. So Tom just ordered what would be a nice breakfast sandwich – the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. At $3.59 per biscuit, it would be comparable to a sandwich at McDonald’s in Singapore. However, after Tom ordered, the lady mentioned that it was on offer at $1. $1 for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit!
Tom then ordered 2 for a grand total of $2.22 inclusive of taxes. Also, the biscuit turned out to be better than the one we had at Charleston and we paid 2 for #$3 then. Later, we found out that the $1 biscuit deal is only for a limited time only for breakfasts till 1030am…

Experience statement: The nuggets were good and fresh. Simple misunderstands come and go, but don’t then trivialize the situation and act sarcastic/dismissive. Their payment systems (gift card and mobile app) were not working and I was trying to understand why not. From their expression, I made it clear that it wasn’t a manner of if I had funds, more why they were not working. Given this was my second time trying this, and it worked via online ordering.
Regarding my experience, customers don’t see or interact with the restaurant’s ordering system. Just showing me a screen does not help, as I don’t know the tricks of the trade.
Gift card statement:
Regardless, their online statement about the physical gift card being usable after the balance is registered on your app is wrong. The idea was to use the app, which generates a code every 5 minutes. On the system, it showed up as a different credit amount coded as an online order and looking. If can’t use my existing money, why would I add more if I can’t use all my money (it requires me to add more to my balance, in increments of $10). Cashed out some reward points and called it.

This is without doubt my favorite Wendy’s franchise in the city. I’ve come to expect a certain level of imperfection in fast food — cold fries, wrong drink, missing straw, the like. In my patronage of this particular franchise, I have never had anything but a wonderful experience. I mean, even down to the exact right number of ketchup packets in the bag going through the drivethru WITHOUT ASKING.
Seeing some of the other reviews of this location, I simply cannot fathom those events taking place here. Even the drive thru staff are CONSISTENTLY friendly! It’s truly remarkable and I cannot give enough kudos.
So, really, thank you St. Charles Wendy’s. You’re doing a great job.

Horrible service and insanely rude staff. Gave my burger back twice and still they got it wrong. The manager was so ugly and when I said that’s fine I just want my money back. They didn’t know how to refund a card so they gave it to me in cash but spoke no words and just handed me the money and shoooed me away with their hand. Just horrible. I mean you get paid to provide a service and if it’s wrong that’s ok I gave the opportunity for them to fix twice then she didn’t want to fix it and said we have no tomatoes. All with a bothered demeanor… like I did something. Customer service was horrid and if I could give a zero I would. So disappointed.

HORRIBLE service. Avoid this Wendy’s at all costs. If you don’t believe me read the rest of the reviews. I went by there today because I had a promo code for a free 4pc nuggets. I ordered the signature Wendy’s dipping sauce to go with it and added on a dbl stack and a cup of chilli w/ sour cream. The lady hands me the bag and I always check before driving off for this exact reason. The dipping sauce I ordered wasn’t in the bag, neither was the sour cream and crackers and hot sauce for the chilli, nor a spoon to eat it with, or napkins. So the lady came back to the window with a look on her face of “why are you still here”. I asked if I could please have the dipping sauce and other items. She said “it’s in the bag”. I said , it’s not in the bag and you’re more than welcome to check if you’d like. She then stated she needed to tend to the other customers that she didn’t have time to check the bag. She handed me the missing items except for the dipping sauce. Walked away from the window. Comes back and I’m still sitting there. I said can I have my dipping sauce please. She then tried to tell me it’s 50c. Then the manager comes up behind her telling me what I ordered and I said yes mam and it’s not in the bag. the manager finally hands me the sauce and I drive away. I mean the basic job of drive thru employees is putting the condiments utensils and napkins in the bag and then you have to go back and forth with them just to get it. It’s absolutely ridiculous and their rude attitudes for no reason whatsoever. Not to mention the food was old and cold when I got it.

I am not going to add any stars for a reason. I went in on Thursday evening and Jan 1. The crew was nice, food was fast and hot. I went in Friday morning and the front lady was rude, pushy, I wanted to get a chicken biscuit for my wife…I told them I did not want the honey biscuit. I got the burrito combo and my wife got chicken biscuit combo. Taters were cold. Biscuit had honey on it. So do not advise going to this location in the mornings until management change.

I arrived to New Orleans on 2/12/26 and decided to stop at Wendy’s since we just got into town. Instead of using the drive thru to avoid the order we went inside. Not busy and didn’t wait long but after getting my order I left with it and make the mistake of not checking the order. After getting to my hotel, my chilli was missing and the two cheese burgers were flat and greasy. The lettuce was very wilted and the fried were cold. It was only a 2 minute drive to my room from Wendy’s which shows this was a cold order.

This is the worst fast food I have ever had. I placed an order in advance but still had to wait for the chicken nuggets to be done cooking. When I got my order it was mostly old stale uggets with a few fresh ones. I also got a black hair in my nuggets. The fries were also stale.

My experience this morning on 10/26/2025 around 6:00am was terrible. First of all the drive menu was still set on lunch instead of breakfast during breakfast hours. The young taking my order said in condescending tone to “read the menu to see what kind of breakfast combos we have” after I informed her of the scene being set on lunch. I placed a breakfast combos order for a vanilla cold brew with cold foam with a “honey butter” chicken biscuit and seasoned potato wedges. Instead of a vanilla cold brew, I received a vanilla iced latte with spoiled milk. The coffee tasted as if the coffee machine has not been clean since last year. The honey butter biscuit lacked the honey butter and to make matters worse the chicken patty was soggy. The potato wedges were like warm and stale. I couldn’t even stand to look at it long enough to take a picture of it.
