I don’t like writing bad reviews. I gave them every chance to make my order right. I ordered a Wendy’s Meal of Misfortune and had a coupon for buy one baconator and get one for a dollar, and ordered two medium fries and two medium chocolate frosties. It took the girl five minutes to figure out the coupon and apparently she still didn’t ring it in correctly. I got the meal of Misfortune without the frostie that comes with it and one baconator and two medium fries and two chocolate frosties. I went back up to the counter and showed them what I had and said I am missing a baconator and a frostie. They said can i see your receipt and i showed it to them. They pointed out the girl only rang up one baconator. I said well i ordered two and showed them the coupon. At which point they bring out my missing frostie so i took that to the table. All of this is taking time and by this point my fries are cold. I went back uo to the counter and overheard the manager tell the cook that the dine in order for a baconator is two not one. I told the girl hey i already got one i just need a second one not two. They didn’t tell the cook. So they finally bring me two sandwiches to replace my one missing baconator. Neither one is a baconator. They are both single patties with cheese and two slices of bacon. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I took them back up to the counter and said excuse me, these are not baconators. She said do you want me to make you a new one or just add two slices of bacon? I said ma’am these are single patties. This is not a baconator. So she takes one of my sandwiches and puts bacon on it and brings it back. I was like to heck with it and just took it and left. Ridiculous.

I come here all the time, to the point the guy who works evenings knows my order.

Always have nice chats at the window with him and a few of the other night staff regulars.
Love them, amazing customer service.

Today at lunch, lady takes my order.
“Can I double stack biggie-“
“ok, what else?”
“…the bag. Wit-“
“Is diet coke ok” ????????
“Uhh…Dr. Pepper” *She put’s Diet Dr. Pepper*
“No, normal Dr. Pepper”
“ok, what sauce?”
“Barbeque. And can you make the meal large?” *Only changes the drink*
“The fries are still showing as Junior?”
“Yeah, i got it, what else for you?” *Fries still haven’t been fixed*
“Medium chocolate frosty”
“Ok, total at the window.”
*The screen is still wrong and doesn’t show my frosty.*

I pull up to the window, am greeted by someone I haven’t seen before, a black chick with long red braids (Which, from my own experience working in fast food for 5 years (with hip length hair) is a health code violation to not have tied back/up).
“Your total is $10.46”
“No, it’s $11.04. You’ve got something wrong” (Again, I get the SAME thing every time, so she’s missing something)
She glances to the screen, nods and says again “It’s $10.46”
“No, it’s -not-. I get the same thing every time, it is $11.04. Double stack biggie bag, ketchup only, large fry and large Dr. Pepper.”
Seconds later: “It’s $11.04” *Checks receipt, it’s finally right*

[“Why would you fight to pay more?”: Because then my order will be wrong. My order is $11.04 every time so if it’s not that, you’ve got something WRONG with it. I would prefer not to be missing items I wanted or stuff be made wrong… though even getting her to correct the order didn’t help apparently]

Get my food, go to check it, missing the nuggets. Got the drink and fries right, but had to walk into the store to get the rest of my order.

FIRE. HER. The constant interrupting when I’m trying to place an order. Let the customer *finish* their sentences. Not fixing the order while I’m there to be able to see it and catch the mistakes before I get to the window, and the fighting with a regular when they tell you the exact amount it’s *supposed* to be (Maybe they know that specific number because they get it all the time???). Just fire her, or at least remove her from drive thru until she’s gotten trained.

Note to self, only the evening shift is competent apparently.

[No, it wasn’t busy. I pulled straight up to the speaker, when I came around the corner, one car was driving off and only had one other in front of me. So no, not busy]

Would give 0 or negative stars if I could. Horrible experience in the drive through and inside the store when they wouldn’t help me in the drive through even though it was working. Employees were EXTREMELY rude to me and the food was awful as well.

Got food poisoning from their Cobb salad last night I asked for extra chicken which I did get but I don’t think it was all the way done or at the right temp tried calling this morning no answer per usual. Would’ve called last night but this happened around 11:30pm

We used to come here often, this location has gone downhill over time. Currently I’m waiting on a refund from them. We ordered on the Wendy’s app and got to the store, after our confirmation from the store that the order was ready, to find out they didn’t have half of the food products we ordered. We asked for a refund due to the fact that half of our family didn’t have a meal now. They said because we ordered on the app we needed to go through the app for a refund. After two months of emails back and forth with corporate through the app, the store management team has failed to call me. They have been notified from corporate and have yet to contact me. I think this is a lack of customer service and it shows what they think of my family and our money. Originally we went to a different location due to my pettiness. I felt that until this store gave me my money back for food I didn’t receive, I wasn’t going to go there. Now after seeing that corporate also doesn’t really care, we will not be going back to Wendy’s. Overall the food was okay at best and the service was never great.

They were training a new cashier, so my order got a bit messed up, but it’s okay. Had it fixed with no issues, and it was delicious. Baconator can’t be beat. Maybe put more bacon on a burger called a baconator. Lobby was under renovation of some sort, so it looked a bit disheveled inside, but it appeared to be clean. Building could use some love.

First time at this location but I received my food pretty fast, business for them was slow tho. Baked potato was sitting for a minute it seemed like, jr. Bacon cheeseburger had a was neat but the buns were a lil hard or stale. Chicken nuggets were freshly fried and still juicy. Restaurant was clean and friendly staffed.

We work for a business that pulls night shift hours. We just wanted a snack before we went to our next job. So we pulled into the Wendy’s in Alton, IL at 11:44 pm and the drive through and walk in dining was closed, there were other customers behind us. This is unacceptable, the hours posted are until 12am, all we wanted was some fries. There was one employee mopping the floor, and he waved me away saying they were closed. False advertisement is what we have here, change your postings. Thank you.
