August 9th 2025 Around 8:45am, I Waited For The Cicero Bus In This Location. Was Approached By Maria The Store Manager and Was Told That I Couldn’t Sit Inside The Store Without Ordering At Which Point I Began Recording. I Agreed That I Would By A Breakfast Combo In Order To Maintain My Shelter From The Hot Sun. I Approached The Counter All While Still Recording and Waited To Be Serviced. She Just Stood There Looking At Me Blankly So I Asked If She Could Take My Order. To That She Responded “Huh” As If She Couldn’t Understand. I Asked Again In a Slower Louder Manor and She Then Became Offended and Said I Was Being Hostile With Her. I Informed Her That I Was Recording Our Entire Interaction And At That Point She Became Enraged. Telling That I Couldn’t Record Throwing Her Hands At Me and Saying I Had To Get Out and That She Was Calling The Police Because She Didn’t Want To Be Recorded. At This Point I Reminded Her That In The State Of Illinois Is It Lawful and Legal For Me To Record Anyone On A Clock and In Uniform On a Job! She Then Called The Cicero Police Faking An Emergency Telling Them That I’m Hostile and That She Is Scared And Come Quick! Why Because I’m Black? I Literally Weigh 108lbs At 30 years old! What Threat Did I Pose By Recording and Trying To Purchase a Meal? Once They Arrived She Then Tried To Have Me Banned From The Property Which Took Up Almost An Hour and 30 Minutes Of My Day and Caused Me To Miss So Much. I Was So Stressed Out and Embarrassed By The Manager Of This Location and I Hope She Is Fired Once Corporate Reviews The Footage and See What Kind Of People They Hire!

The current management is soooo rude. They treat the new hire like crap. No one helps each other. The new hire was tryi g her best and the manager only knows how to mistreat her… felt bad for her. She was doing a great job during the lunch rush. They also Does not give the bathroom code out. Advises the cashier that she can’t give out the code, she has to ask someone else. We placed an order for a group of 6 and when we asked for the bathroom code, the girl Manager with an attitude said ” No, not now” And walked away. Like What? Another time we asked, they were like you have to order something. We literally have 2 orders and we are still waiting for it. The management needs to be fired or trained up. They should not be treating their employees and customers with such bad attitude.

There should be an option for zero stars. The manager Elza and the other manager along with their employees who were clocked in around 1:30 – 2:00 pm on 10/5/2025 were extremely unprofessional rude and racist. I made an order at the kiosk for $16.26 but the kiosk told me to go to the front and pay again. I was already charged, so I just wanted my meal. I was respectful and patient.
I went to counter waiting for someone to acknowledge me, which they did not until I said excuse me. I explained to the first manager that I paid for my meal and then the kiosk asked me to go to the front again and pay. I showed them that my card was charged. I did not want to pay twice for only one order. She left me at the front and continued to service other people while leaving the pay option as if I was just going to pay again.
She continued to walk to the counter ignore me and speak to the other customers. I then asked one employee for another manager because at that point I was upset with the lack of service. The manager Elza completely ignored me when I requested for her and continued to walk past me. The employees began laughing at me when I was visibly upset and made comments calling me ghetto and mayate (derogatory term for black people). At that point I was shaking with anger and asked for Elza again.
When I explained to her the situation of being ignored and the unprofessionalism on top the payment error, Elza dismissed me and told me I need to pay because it’s not showing the system that I paid. I told her I already paid and did not want to pay twice. Elza said I need to come back tomorrow if im charged twice and her employees continued to laugh. I complained about the other manager and Elza response was “she does not speak english”, when she was clearly speaking and I understanding English when taking other orders. I felt extremely angry and embarrassed. I was so angry at their actions that I paid for the meal AGAIN and left. Judging by the other comments this is not their first rodeo with their behavior. This complaint will also be sent to corporate due to their disgusting actions and flat out racist behavior.

Worst Wendy’s I ever had in my life! Disgustingly dry burger. I assume it was microwaved more than once, or maybe too long. It didn’t taste or smell like a Wendy’s burger. Not only was the burger dry as the desert, the entire sandwich was dry. I don’t think there was any sauce on it. If there was, it was it was a tiny dab. There was one onion slice on it. I don’t understand why it was so bad. Just horrible. I tossed it. Couldn’t eat it.

The Worker swiped my card, ask me to pull up and wait, then gave me bad food. When i asked for refund for my hard earned money they refused to do so. FYI, they will swipe you card and give you bad food. After a long day of hard work i was very disappointed withthe service it was a slap in the face.

Didn’t get my 8 dollar spicy chicken sandwich or anything in the side for my chili. And apparently the phones don’t work or employees haven’t been trained on how to use them. Love Wendy’s I’m the guy who orders lg chili w 10 packs of crackers. 10pm sat nov 1.

⭐ 1 star – Terrible experience.
Placed a mobile order and it didn’t show up in their system. I stayed calm, smiled, and showed my receipt multiple times, but the lady at the counter (who seemed like the manager/SPV) was incredibly rude and dismissive. She said there was only one mobile order that morning and someone already picked it up at 11 AM; even though I just ordered mine and clearly showed proof.
I waited over 30 minutes, and she still didn’t apologize or acknowledge their mistake. When she finally gave me my $6 meal & drink, she didn’t even believe me, just walked away like I was making it up. Why would I lie over something I always order? It’s on the app, plain as day. I also gave her the proof of my bank account, I paid for it. Next time, apologize!
Save your time and skip this location. Unprofessional and rude.

We were not given a recipe, the salad isn’t even nicely done or presentable, was given a large drink when i asked for 3 medium. We asked for the receipt but when charged the gentleman said they would give it at next window, didn’t happen, then we were asked to park ahead and wait for our order. We waited asked for the receipt and young lady said it should be in the bag. We got home and no receipt and the salad looked like this. Why charge $10 for a salad meal and the salad isn’t even the way it should look. Whoever made it needs more instruction.
