Ketchup is being charged by Artie the manager, in a time that other restaurants are giving away free meals because of the EBT situation, Wow! I don’t usually make reviews but I have to about this one Arti the manager has the worst attitude that one could possibly have in any business. I place a mobile order I wait about 5 minutes before going in. I go in and I noticed that their busy making drive-thru orders not paying attention to the front or what I noticed my receipt still being on the machine. This goes on for another Solid 2 minutes until I get noticed and the guy comes up and asks me what I want and I tell him I’m here for my mobile order and only then does he notice that the ticket is on the machine, tell me the order is not ready yet I tell him know the order hasn’t even been started but that’s why I came in to make sure you guys started. He clearly didn’t like the sound of the truth and puts on the meanest face and attitude from there on the drink he was supposed to make me is hastily made with about half an inch below the brim am I supposed to get my food made out of sight. McKinley ask him for some barbecue cups and he tells me that each one is 54 cents so then I asked him for a handful of ketchup he hands me three I reiterate a handful and then he threatens that he’s going to charge me for more ketchup says they got a charge for everything now I walk away at the Ridiculousness of that statement. Soured my whole morning, made me lose my appetite, enough to go back and ask him his name cuz that kind of attitude and behavior needs to be curbed and that boy needs retraining or repositioning to a lower level.

To Whom It Concerns,
On November 5, 2025, I was forced to waste my time, money, and patience at your 1362 US 12 FOX LAKE location after manager Phil explicitly instructed me to return for a full replacement of a $51.77 order that was never delivered correctly. I complied. Phil was conveniently “on vacation.” The replacement manager (name unknown, female, shift lead or to give me her name . ) refused to honor Phil’s commitment, spoke Spanish in front of me to exclude me from the conversation, and declared outright: “I’m not going to do anything about it.”
This is not “customer service.” This is theft by deception and blatant disrespect.
Facts (non-negotiable):
1. I paid $51.77 for food I never received as promised.
2. Manager Phil guaranteed replacement.
3. The acting manager ignored corporate policy, refused verification, and escalated rudeness.
4. Staff spoke in Spanish to mock and sideline a paying customer.
5. I left with nothing after two separate trips.
I demand the following within 5 business days:
• Full refund of $51.77 to my original payment method.
• $51.77 credit loaded to my Wendy’s app as compensation for wasted time and fuel.
• Written confirmation that this location’s management has been disciplined and retrained on:
• Honoring verbal commitments between shifts
• Zero tolerance for language exclusion in customer-facing interactions
• Basic respect
• Direct call from the district manager (name and number required) to confirm these actions.
Failure to comply will leave me no choice but to:
• File a formal complaint with the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division
• Dispute the $51.77 charge with my bank
• Amplify this experience across review platforms, social media, and local news

Husband came here Saturday April 29th at 1:13am. They close at 2am so not sure why they’d be in a hurry but they didn’t fully cook our chicken sandwiches. They had plenty of time to fully cook our food. You can clearly see by the photo I posted just how raw the chicken was. We’ve been coming here for a while and never had issues until this time so I’ll give them one pass. If you come here please be careful and make sure your food is cooked correctly. The Manager who I spoke to was polite and returned my money, but I hope he takes the time to retrain whoever closed that morning, because this is unacceptable and can make someone very sick.

Litterally every time I come here the order is wrong or they forgot something it’s annoying !! Then they tell you to just come in and get what was missed replaced I did that for a 4 piece nugget that was missing and they barely wanted to give it to me!

Ordered (2) doubles, and (2) Frosties. Order had to be repeated multiple times. At drive up window received (1) double, and (2) Frosties. No receipt was issued, or offered by person at window. Multiple paper towels were needed to soak up grease before half of sandwich could be consumed. Fries were actually ok.

The employees were really pleasant and helpful. Tried biggie bags and ordered an additional sandwich because we didn’t think it would be enough. The Asiago Chicken was more expensive than the entire bag combo. Kind of small for the price, but it was pretty good. I like that they have the soft drink machine that offers many types of drinks that you are able to mix together. I had the orange cream soda.
