So it was busy, which is okay, because that’s normal. The issue was that I was at the pick up lined and showed them my name on the doordash order for pick up for myself, and, they confirmed, a few minutes later I guess there was some confusion and wendys “cancel”my order on their end right in front of me while I was there. But my card was still chrage and the doordash order was still showed as active, so then I waited for another 20 mins after I notified them of the issue, so people who order after me got their food and I had to wait for about an hour,so there’s that. I think they was hoping that I would have left lol, they was busy with other orders; but my card was still charged so I stayed. Food was still decent, fries were soggy and cold.

For a fast food place, this Wendy’s was pretty good. It’s always a good recommend place for lunch. I really enjoy the burgers that have. The Fries are perfect and AMAZING. Even though the frostiest are delicious, one of their machines always happens to be out. Overall, really nice place.

Went late at night, everything was fresh which was awesome but I only give 3 stars because me and my wife got chicken sandwiches. Mine was completely fine, however my wife’s chicken was like a sponge, the chicken was not right. I don’t know if you guys changed the chicken recipe but I will not longer be getting Wendy’s with the fake meat they’re selling

Asked for a BBQ sauce and the guy at the window looked at me like I was asking for extra everything. Rolls his eyes, says sure, then lacklusterly says have a good day. Acting like I’m robbing them for one BBQ sauce. Maybe have the app make that an option to order it rather than give me attitude for a simple request.

I ordered yesterday and most of my items were prepared wrong in some way. When I called today to let the manager(Martha) know she handled the situation great and I felt like my feedback was actually heard. They made the order again(right this time) and I will be going back soon!

Standing here over 10 minutes. No one is greeting anyone and there is a long line. They are more worried about drive thru. What’s going on with this place. Eight of us just standing here. Retrain your staff can any of them talk to us. Still waiting on food now over 10 minutes almost 22 minutes have passed and still nothing

I would give this location 5 stars if some kid wasn’t on his phone every time I come in and I have to keep letting him know I’m there. If you are handling food do not be on your phone which has so many germs on it and also pay attention to who walks in the door! Also my Dave’s deluxe has never looked this bad

This location has gone down hill. From people not wanting to wait on the lobby customers and ignoring them when they go to the counter. Fries are never fresh, burgers have tasted rotten, or are dripping is so much grease they are not edible, and lobby is never clean. I have been taking the extra time to go out to the crystal lake store as of late.

We made a quick drop in visit this time on Sunday, January 18, 2026. It was our first time back in two months and we just got some Frostees but I cannot recommend them enough. The service from the staff was decent as well. Overall, I enjoyed my meal from the Cary Wendy’s and I’ll definitely be back soon. Only complaint is that I hate the idea of AI drive throughs and I hope they go away. (Written 1-26-26)
