Went on Feb 27th 2026, a FRIDAY. They closed the inside dining at 6pm. They locked the door as we pulled up and stared at us. It clearly shows on their big billboard outside that dining is open until 7pm. Lazy workers just wanted to force people to drive thru.
Only upside is the tall dude who worked drive thru was very nice and professional. Great worker.

They must have gotten new workers because the last few times we have been here our orders have been coming out timely AND correct! Staff also seem to be in better moods and are much more friendly and appear to be better organized. Also we haven’t had extremely long wait times in the drive thru as we have every other visit in the past. Whatever they changed is proving to be positive and it is noticed by customers!

I’ve been going to this location for several years and for a while it was definitely struggling but as of late summer 2025 it it seems that they have put in some work to improve everything, the parking lot is getting better, the potholes are getting filled in which is refreshing, and a big difference in the food and service speed. Happy to see everything turning around and being a place I can look forward to relying on again when we need a quick meal.

Super friendly staff, warm (physically and atmospherically) & inviting dining area. This is a very unique experience. The Wendy’s building is shaped or constructed in the shape of a large log cabin. Possibly resembling a chalet. We had to do a double/triple take to make sure we were reading the sign correctly. Large parking lot, plenty parking. We will definitely be back again. Dave’s Cherry Cream Soda and hot fries highly recommended!

We went through the drive through about 7pm on our way back from hunting . Big sexy Nate had the double burger loaded with fries and a coke while I just had a 4 peice chicken strips. He looked to have never eaten before as he devoured his food like a starving lumberjack . I also enjoyed the chicken . The prices seemed crazy high but I understand that is the world we live in . It was $20+ for a small order . The service was good as they got us in and out of the drive through quickly .We got what we ordered and it wasn’t a mess with napkins .

This unfortunately was one of the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to. I hope I don’t get sick. The dining room hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Floor was sticky, soda machine and bathrooms were disgusting. Soda machine was out of ice. Dining room chairs were also in rough shape. Considering how awesome the building is, and it’s great Nisswa location, it was truly a disappointment. The store manager should be fired.

After finding out that this location was under new management, I gave it a try and found that the service was infinitely better. from the food being prepared with a lot more care And the friendly faces at this wendy’s it really made my experience worth coming back again. Also I remember how the food used to not always be the freshest under the old management and I don’t run into that problem Anymore and the speed that my food is handed out in and fact that the lobby is now open again Really excites me and has looking forward to coming back here again

By far one of the best Wendy’s we have ever been to! It looks like a cozy cabin both on the outside and inside. Food was extremely good and staff was awesome. Bathrooms were pretty clean and much better than some Wendy’s we have back at home in Southern MN. It was altogether a fantastic experience and we will stop by again next time we come up to Brainerd!

I am not a fan of wendys much but after tonight I will not eat there again. Fries cold and stale my sandwich was supposed to be the Asiago ranch chicken sandwich (classic) and it was a spicy and old and dry! The cheese was hard and rubbery, bacon was stale and hard as a rock! The double baconator sandwich was NOT supposed to have ketchup and it did. Patties were dry and over cooked. The only reason I agreed was because it was my other half birthday and he loves the ghost pepper sauce. Waste of my money will never go there again. Worst food I ever had didn’t even eat it cause I couldnt!!
