Top 3 worst experience at a restaurant being fast food or otherwise. Usual mobile pickup which started okay but got told to pull around and wait which is no big deal. Noticed another customer waiting and looking frustrated after sitting for several minutes. He went to side door to see what was happening and we have at that point been waiting just as long. He came and went to the window a few times and finally ended up with his food which was wrong. It was finally at this point they came outside after 15 minutes of waiting and told us that several employees had quit on him just now but he would still get started on our food. Few more minutes goes by and asks what was the name on the mobile order and then the order was finally billed out. He then came back out to tell me us to cancel the order even though we could not because the app stated it was already picked up. Mid convo he leaves to talk to the car next to us and starts cussing because apparently they were employees and telling them as soon as they clock in he is leaving. Went back through the drive thru to either get refund or food. Talked to two different employees that were both hostile and confused. They told us they can’t refund us but will start working on the food. They completed the order and gave us our food. She seemed apologetic and we understand that things happen but this was 40 minutes of waiting on food. We would have left had they not “completed” the order and it charged us. Only reason this is not a 1 star is because the lady rectified the food situation. This was a cartoonish/laughably bad experience. Will avoid this location in future.

Incorrect orders all the time. My double stack had no cheese and no mustard and the meat was also burnt and dry. Not the first time this has happened. Do better; For others at least…because I won’t be coming back. Just an awful waste of money.

Brand new location and you’re already sitting at 3.2 star rating. One of the worst fast food scores in all Jonesborough.

Maybe ownership should respond to some of these complaints and fix the obvious issues instead of just ignoring it like it’s gonna go away.

I love the Jonesborough, TN Wendy’s! I come here every week day for breakfast. The staff is so patient, kind, greet you with a smile. The food is always consistently great!! The absolute best!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just came from the new jobesborough location . We waited 1 hour in drivethru first of all. we ordered 4 large fries and was told they didn’t have large fry cartons and we would get small they didnt even give the option to go medium .we paid for 2 medium frostys and was given 2 small.guy argued at the window they were medium . And last the meat on the burger was pink as can be .both patties on the double burger .my sons was uncooked as well. I tried to call them 3 seperate times and noone even answers the phone there . Horrible experience and i wont be going back . 63 dollars for 4 meals and it that raw and nasty is ridiculous!!

Biggie bag with cold cheese burger, cheese didn’t melt at all. Meat Luke warm. The fries were just as bad almost soft. Not that busy inside but 90% of the tables were trashed along with trash on floor. 1 other table inside besides us. After seeing the the 2.6 star review I now understand why we’ll never come back here. 2nd time here and will be the last. Better off in Johnson city location. This store is new. No excuses for poor quality everything. Sad thing is “Quality is our recipe” is their mark. Save time and $ by avoiding this store!

The AI order “takerer” needs to go ASAP. My to go food was all ice cold, I have a 5 minute ride home so no excuse there, not sure it was ever hot as the cheese on my cheeseburger showed no signs of melting. The Lady at the drive thru was great though. Lose that AI.

Additional review 1/19/2026: It’s freezing today so I thought some Wendys chili will hit the spot….NOPE….so runny it doesn’t even qualify as a soup. Wendy’s has become a huge disappointment, then only thing worth a hoot anymore are the Frostys.

I used to enjoy Wendy’s chili. I wasn’t feeling well the other day and wanted Chili. It wasn’t at all like the chili I liked…it was very sweet and not good. I will not order chili in Jonesborough again….so disappointed

Food and personnel were fine. Hate the new AI order at the drive thru. I didn’t see a board listing my order, it kept interrupting my order and it’s just another impersonal machine. Get rid of it!

Everytime I have been to the Jonesborough Tn Wendy’s my food has been bad. Most recent experience my cheeseburger looked like it had been sitting for a long time but the inside was raw. I took it back and asked for nuggets instead. They were overcooked and Wendy’s made $1.89 off of me because no refund was given for the difference. BTW don’t think your customers can’t hear you cuss and complain about your staff. Not sure why I keep returning. I’m praying it will be different.
