This Wendy’s felt less like a restaurant and more like a full-blown survival challenge. I stood at the counter for six or seven very long minutes before anyone acknowledged me, which gave me plenty of time to admire the one-inch-deep lagoon of swampy soap water sloshing across the kitchen floor. I was genuinely waiting for frogs to move in. OSHA would’ve needed emotional support after seeing it.
When someone finally wandered over so I could place my order, I was granted another five-minute intermission while he disappeared to handle drive-thru—because the two employees on duty looked like they were locked in a fierce competition for “Most Miserable Worker Alive.”
The food? Surprisingly decent. Fries were fine, Frosty carried the whole franchise, and my burger was so pink inside I thought it would stand up, shake my hand, and introduce itself. Cute square shape, not-so-cute mooing.
Then came the grand finale. One of the two workers abandoned his station to drag out the loudest, most prehistoric vacuum cleaner on planet earth. Nothing says “bon appétit” like the sound of a dying vacuum screaming for mercy.
And just when I thought the chaos was over, the guy who was working decided it was the perfect moment for a five-minute vape break—right outside the window, directly in front of us. We were literally the only customers in the store, but sure, go ahead and blow blueberry-cloud existential despair in our line of sight. Inspirational.
Verdict: Decent food served in an atmosphere that feels like a haunted house staffed by people who lost a bet. Bring patience, boots, ear protection, and apparently a fog machine to blend in. You’ll need all of them.
Along with innovative advertising and offers; they stay interesting and delicious!
They always get orders wrong, the worker cancelled my order and never got food and still charged my card with no refund, workers are clueless, food is always way below quality and tastes old and never fresh, constantly out of stock and if you put in a mobile order you just don’t get items (again..without refund).
I would also add, that any time Ive gone inside to ask something to be fixed, the workers will just peak around corners and stand around for 5-6 minutes before coming up to the counter.
Yea, Im never coming back here.
Second, I get to the window because I have a free ten price nugget and a free fry because it’s Friday, they tell me they can’t do it, so I asked if they could scan on the other one and she said no because she would have to re apple my entire order. So I didn’t get points or my free nugget or fry.
Third, the service was not good they seemed very unhappy to be there.
Fourth, we get the food.. I got the wrong favor saucy nugs and they were cold. Which was extremely annoying because the food didn’t taste horrible but it was cold and wrong flavor.
Fifth, we got the Lanny patty meal and with that comes the pineapple frosty. Which was just vanilla with pineapple at the bottom.
I know Wendy’s isn’t good to begin with but I was extremely dissatisfied.
What I witnessed, however, was very concerning. The employee placed my sandwich directly in the microwave without using a liner or any gloves, then took it out with the same hand she had been handling money at the drive-through. She also didn’t use any covering for the sandwich while microwaving it.
This kind of handling is unsanitary and raises serious food safety concerns. Proper hygiene and food safety are critical to prevent foodborne illness, and this experience was disappointing and off-putting. I likely will not be returning to this location.
Hopefully you are not in a hurry as they are no longer fast food.
They need to go back to the yellow Wendy’s where they were actually worth going to
